This game appears to be a parkour + bossrush + story game, but the parkour is horrendous, your choices dont matter, and the bosses are lackluster. All of the things you can do seem to rely on what the developer wants you to do for every specific jump, there is no freedom of choice to take a different path. Even if the game communicates that the jump is possible, slicer P will refuse to wallrun or wallclimb at random, making the jumps impossible. The bosses are very bland, I will admit that it may be because i only beat the first 2 bosses, but it didnt feel good to fight them at all. Also there are these moments where you can "slack off" with slicer P, but these have no bearing on the game or story whatsoever. There's so much attention to detail when it comes to the tiny things, like her blushing if you use the zoom in feature on her face, or how she covers her eyes when you use the flashlight on her face, but so much of the core gameplay is just not enjoyable.

Fantastic game if you're into Parkour games like Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia or Ghostrunner, great visuals and soundtrack, and I think it has the right length without overstaying its welcome (around 6 hours without really bothering to get the orbs). Now despite what it may look, this is not a game where the combat is particularly fleshed out, it's there to serve the purpose of staggering your parkour from A to B, not to be much of a challenge. Personally I could have done without a bunch of the enemy sections to focus more on the parkour. Same with the bosses, while very big and reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus, they don't really pose a threat to you once you get on top of them (which tends to be within seconds). I would have liked to see a bit more resistance from the machines, like trying to shake you off, sending reinforcements, missiles or anything really. My last nitpick is that the build-up of the game doesn't quite match what it ends up being, to me it felt like either a rushed game or sequel bait, a bit of a letdown how quickly it ends. It was a good game. I came into it with relatively high expectations because of what I’d seen about it on social media (big bosses, parkour, moving around with the chainsaw), and to be honest, I had a pretty good time at first. But there are some things that, by the time I got to Chapter 4 or 5, had me playing more to finish it than because I was actually enjoying the game itself, and I stopped bothering to look for the drones (apparently they only affect achievements; they don’t impact the story or lore). I feel like the game struggles to explain certain mechanics or get the player to interact with and use them to “get used to them,” and after watching other people’s playthroughs, I’d say it wasn’t just me. Also, sometimes the movement controls were tougher than some of the bosses—even though they were all really cool—and moving around was more of a challenge and a struggle for me than the boss itself. The physics are also weird and hard to get used to—sometimes the character grabs onto and slides along surfaces without any input, sometimes not; sometimes it jumps where you tell it to, sometimes not. Having completed the game, I can’t call it “good” or “bad” and of course “special”, but for the most part, I’d describe it as strange and confusing. On the downside, I can say that some bosses are hard to beat at times, and there are many moments in the game with P that can be pretty strange — unless, of course, you’re a fan of sci-fi anime girls. The plot is quite confusing, and sometimes it’s unclear where to go, and there aren’t that many types of enemies (despite the bosses). On the plus side, the game’s art style is pretty good, the controls are smooth (at least for me), and the gameplay is generally solid. Despite the repetitiveness, new mechanics do pop up from time to time, and even though some bosses are difficult, the battles against them can be fun. I’ll reiterate that I can’t call this game “good” or “bad” — it’s more of a strange and confusing experience. But overall, I’d say the game is nice or at least average. And at the very least, it was a decent way for me to kill some time. I’d recommend this game more to fans of sci-fi anime girls or something similar, or to anyone looking to kill some time with something simple.
