Sinister Remains

Very nice game. Sorta PT-ish/Visagey. May seem a tad predictable story wise. Has a decent twist. Graphics were very nice, I thought the music audio could be a little louder. No loud jump-scares. A little over an hour to complete. Looks like the dev's first game? If so. It's well done. 8.5/10

I played in a couple separate sessions and wrote some feedback for the developer which they were very receptive of <3 Overall, I loved the horror theme of the game and it did jump scare me a couple times! Overall the atmosphere was amazing where things would change as you navigated through the corridors. There are a few things that could be updated as far that I mentioned in my Discussion post but overall the story was interesting, there were some puzzles, and the atmosphere was amazing. I would be happy to play again when more updates come out!

good game but the game bugged on the second tape i couldnt start it and the loading saves wasnt working either so i had to restart the whole game which was annoying but other than that great game .

For being a first project, this game was pretty good. It's a PT style walking simulator but actually has atmosphere and doesn't just feel like a boring stock asset fest where you walk at a super slow pace to trigger the next event. It doesn't have any jumpscares but a strong focus on atmosphere and a feeling of being watched. I looked behind myself quite often which I usually don't do anymore in horror games. The story is a bit confusing but the graphics and sound design were both great. Don't expect a long game with a lot of gameplay though. Just play this instead of watching a movie at night. It's worth it. However, there are some bugs that the dev couldn't fix yet. You should expect to play this in one sitting as the autosave system is messed up. There also was a bug when trying to watch the second vhs and sometimes you couldn't leave a close view.
