ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN

Finally completed Elden Ring Nightreign and enjoyed the co-op with some pretty crazy people. Playing Wylder and Ironeye made me feel confident enough to solo most of the game. Of course, I started to pick up Executor for that Sekiro-like parry, which I can't get enough of. Hoping to beat every Night lord solo with an Executor using a Sekiro-like build soon. However, Exploration phase is still a drag if you just want the boss fights. Still fun though. 7/10.

Game design results in small initial mistakes causing disproportionately large repercussions as you fall behind the progression curve. This makes multiplayer highly frustrating, as even if you do get good teammates, small miscommunications can be highly detrimental and most of the time, you will not be getting good teammates. If you play solo early on, the initial experience is very unfun, as you do not have the relics which make solo play viable. If you try to play solo later on, you quickly realise that the healing and damage scaling for the game is not very well done, as it starts high and only gains a small amount for each person in the expedition.

gut game

Overall a great game but lacks playability after hour 50-60. Relic system needs a little rework but it probably won't happen. Some reviews make it seem like playing with randoms is unbearable, in my experience, thats not the case. I have only played the base game, I would say DLC won't add too much to your Nightreign experience. Everdarks are fairly easy, except Libra's unfair ahh, DoN up until 3 is really easy so I would say balancing is okay. Guardian is the GOAT, the only reason I played the game.
