The all-time classic Streets of Rage, known as Bare Knuckle (ベア・ナックル Bea Nakkuru) in Japan, is a trilogy of beat ‘em up known for this timeless gameplay and electronic dance influenced music. Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, beautiful hand drawn visuals and a God tier soundtrack.
An iconic series like Streets of Rage got its iconic characters: Axel, Blaze, Adam and other veterans reunited to clean up the streets. With some brand-new moves and kickass tracks to take a listen, our heroes are ready to dish out beatdowns to a fledgling group of ill-advised criminals in full force.

underwhelming sequel. Stick to 1-31 found this helpful
Like Absolum the devs on this game made all their hand drawn art at 1080p and there is no way to scale it up so everything looks a bit blurry on 1440p (and presumably higher). Controls are very similar to the old games but the music is worse. You might as well just play 1-3 if you're playing at 1440p or higher since the pixel art scales and looks better and the gameplay is essentially the same. What a bummer. Might be more fun to play with people but I don't see much of a reason to pick this up when there have been so many multiplayer beat-em-ups in the past few years with much faster and more fun combat. On top of all this the new EULA that you're required to agree to is terribly anti-consumer.
Don't play this, play Streets of Rage X.
it's really fun to play. you can put hours in this game without any thinking. Re-playability is really good. worth for money.
Very true to the originals. It adds a lot on top of the originals Great cast of characters. Worth getting
Absolute Cinema. although I am young, I grew up with the first three games and this is amazing, awesome beat 'em up action and satisfying, punchy combat. Props to the devs to making this feel like sega made it, this was great. PS: i have played this on my switch a lot more, only just got it on my deck (to be specific I have played it for 700 something hours, including playing it with my family and the survival endless mode, I didn't just play the story a million times over obviously lol)
