Dandy Ace

If you like that Dead Cells / Hades genre and you're looking for something in that vein, I think you should pick this up on sale and give it a shot. For me, it didn't quite live up to other games in that genre, so I put it down after awhile - but I still recognize the quality of it.

Not my thing

It's okay, the artstyle is the strongest poing, it's really pretty to look at. The story is really simple it's more just a background for the game so don't expect much. The soundtrack is nice but I didn't feel like there were many tracks, it's somewhat forgettable. It's fully voice acted but maybe that was too ambitious for this game because the narrator will keep commenting about your gameplay and he probably only has 10 voicelines total so it gets repetitive and annoying really fast, I had to disable his audio. Combat is fun and there's a decent variety of skills and builds you can make, but some of them are trash and it feels bad poisoning your RNG pool with trash unlocks. Enemy, boss, and scenario variety is really low, there's only a few enemies and they reuse them a lot with variations/recolors, only 4 bosses total and most of the scenarios feel the same, there's little difference on the paths you pick. The rooms are also repetitive, it's always just kill all the boring enemies in it. This game is really similar to Hades but I feel like it lacks all of its depth and variety, it's a weak recommend.

Is okay lah...is playable...However the enemy is quite strong, no really a good in balance. Active skills and passive skill also are no good in design, 3/4 of them i never use... I buy with price RM9++ and play with fun 9 hours++. The game Is acceptable if buy on discount price.

An extremely good action roguelite. Tons of build variety every run, huge variety of skills, fun enemies with decent variety enhanced by varying route options, good boss fights. The mechanic where each skill you pick up can also be a buff is a lot of fun.

the progression is a bit out of whack, you'll end up finishing the game before you unlock half of the cards, trinkets, etc. This could easily be fixed if they let ya keep the shards in between runs instead of just losing them all. Still i think is worth a playtrough, the art is charming and the gameplay is responsive.
