It is not for everyone because you'll need a brain to play this. If you see a negative comment, more than likely that is the reason. Unique and an awesome deckbuilder. Do not pass.

This is a great game. i don't fully understand it but the more you play the more you realize how things work and it becomes really fun. It used to be just a roguelike where you play one run and then its over, but now the game is a lot bigger. There are a lot of different characters to choose from that each have unique skills and builds. You have a base to build and you get resources by playing in tournaments. Every tournament you join is basically one run and you can continue leveling your character and get gear that other characters can use as well and you can upgrade the gears to make some pretty epic stuff. Your characters get wounded after the tournament is done for the damage they received during the fights so you have to adapt and play with different characters. After you build instructors quarters you can also retire your characters if they have a tournament win, and they become instructors that you can assign to another character to give some buffs or skills. When retiring, you can also combine any card that this guy had with another card on another character, so it allows you to make some pretty cool and legendary cards that can break the game or define a characters buil…

The life expectancy of Colosseum gladiators was low. In this game, you will understand why: the slightest mistake in combat will cut short a life that is already far from happy.

I originally played a demo for this game during a Steam fest, and I was very intrigued and gladly bought the game. Developments were promising along the way, until a recent update. The game was almost entirely overhauled, but for the worst. Cannot recommend in the slightest in the current state.

Really fun game. It takes a bit of time to learn how everything works, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very enjoyable and easy to lose track of time playing.

Lots of replay value. Once you learn everything, you’re in for a good time.
