The Valiant

Very nice RTS if you like campaign with a story. I beat the game on normal difficulty and like it, except several final missions. They are a bit too hard. The rest is very interesting and fun. I recommend this game if you want to play squad-based RTS and want to get a nice story with cut scenes

Unfortunately, this is not a game. I really wanted to play good crusader RTS, but I would say just play Ancestors Legacy. The fights boil down to quickly pressing your units specials and hoping something would happen. That would get me through most of the until one mission that is impossible to beat due to AI cheating, I have 6 units not being able to recruit more while AI can spawn unlimited number of units without any resources. I even didnt almost finished the first mission, just so frustrating and difficult.

What an epic game, got this on a massive discount and wasnt disappointed. Story is is deep and great voice acting, challenging game play. Loved it!

it's very eh

Recently finished the Campaign of this Game, which sadly seem to had a lot of similar to Ancestor Legacy. With an interesting story plot and surely great mechanics. But if they were functioning well? Id say no. Especially in a manner of balance. A lack of other faction representation to play with in a MP mode. Levelling up your commanders and all seems cool even the cosmetics, but they do not show off that much, nor does one feel the change... The voice acting is neat and music well it suites the theme but its not very diverse. Art work is cool! But so are the missions, and i can certainly see they tried to make them different, from killing the opposite side to have -some- protect this place or capture this point and hold it, to a siege or three. Out of the sixteen missions. There is no MP community active so far i can see, nor a continueation of the game. In regards to patching and all. Which is a pitty. Is it worth it and playable? Yes, for a one timer plus when on sale.
