A very cautious recommendation, this will not suit everyone. And an X-Com like it is not! So, what is it then? Well it's almost an idle clicker and almost an auto-battler with VERY light strategy and tactics, basically picking which units to throw in the, uh, 2D hallway full of aliens and deciding who next to allocate power up points to. It is very basic and pretty grindy. I suspect that many people might even say it is boring and lame. But sometimes I'm a sucker for lazy, low-effort idle-clicking and power-upping, and if you do too then it's done pretty well. About 30 levels over 3 worlds with increasing difficulty until impossibly hard unless you have levelled up your units enough, you know the drill. It's not too long or hard, probably about 5 hours worth. But if want the achievements - well that's another matter and you will be grinding VERY hard indeed to build up to beat it at it's most difficult level and if that puts you off then it's a definite no-buy.

I kinda liked it. Yeah, it's short, a bit repetitive and grindy if you want to complete the achievements. But it has it's charm. If you have a bit more higher standard than me: Alien Shooter TD is the goat! Get that on sale!

Alien Hallway is a science-fiction action strategy game developed and published by Sigma Team Inc. that takes a streamlined approach to the real-time strategy genre. Instead of focusing on elaborate base construction and resource gathering, the game places players in the middle of an intense military campaign against an overwhelming alien invasion. Set across a series of dangerous corridors and battlefields, the experience revolves around commanding squads of soldiers, managing reinforcements, and pushing forward through relentless waves of hostile creatures. The result is a fast-paced blend of tactical decision-making and arcade-style action that remains accessible while still providing enough challenge to keep players invested. One of the game's most distinctive qualities is its simplified approach to strategy. Alien Hallway strips away many of the complex systems commonly associated with RTS titles and replaces them with direct, action-oriented gameplay. Players spend most of their time deploying units, activating support abilities, and responding to ever-changing battlefield conditions. This design makes the game easy to learn, allowing newcomers to jump into combat quickly wi…

Great game, not the most orignal thing ever, more like the Devs took an established game mode and made a really good example of it. Well worth a play.
