Another arcade like shooter set in space with some underwater theme going on, spiders and other bugs (might be disturbing for some people). Destroy enemy formations for power ups. Approaching waves of enemies are varied and well placed so nothing to complain here. Visual side is good however game runs is super low resolution (800x600). Music is ok but nothing special to remember. To use the controller you have to set it in options first. Controls are tight and responsive, one thing though... I can't pause the game! (press escape). Difficulty wise it's more on a hard side. Playable if you like some old school shooters.
19 found this helpful
There are issues with the game such as full screen being that it just means you have a tiny window to play in. Windows mode allows for a much larger viewing area. This game is quite old school arcade (for those of you that remember the old quarter eaters) in many ways including the one thing I really disliked which is that some of the bosses are WAY over powered. Specifically the ones that just slam into you as you don't have any hope to move fast enough to get out of the way. You can be at full life and shield and within ½ a second of being rammed, your done.3 found this helpful
I really like this game. Not exactly why as there are a few issues I have with it, but for the most part is a solid shooter with good enemy patterns and nice platypus-style graphics. It has lots of potential, but it needs to fix a few things like bosses following you but my ship is too slow to get away and your life drains so incredibly fast that you die. Also the music is repetitive, bland techno unce unce unce every level and there is no boss music at all. The resolution is set at 640x480 in full screen and only slightly higher in windowed. Finally there is no way to earn extra lives either.1 found this helpful
The game is an indie remake of Xenon 2 Megablast and if you're old enough to remember and have played the original you'll find some nice nostaligia here. The game would've been perfect with a shop (its missing that element from the original) but its definitely a short but decent game and worth a few quid to play if you wanted to go down memory lane. One quick note; the game uses your framerate to decide how fast the game plays, so be warned if the game feels too fast you need to change the games frame rate. If you have an Nvidia card its very easy to restrict specific game frame rates and there are multiple 2min youtube tutorials telling you how or drop me a msg.
Broken, crashes on highscore screen.
Jogo meio quebrado nos menus.Com uma jogabilidade razoável.
