Explore 3D cities, valleys, and wastelands. Nope! Similar to the Final Fantasy franchise, there's no need to play the original Anodyne to understand the story in Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, but longtime fans will find connections between the two! Anodyne 2 is truly one of the greatest indie games of all time. It has a beautiful in-depth storyline, a very interesting world to explore, and one of my favorite soundtracks ever. The overall theme and story of the game hit hard for me, and I have since replayed this game countless times.1 found this helpful

very creative
Have always loved Analgesic but this is by and far my favorite. Rich aesthetically and poignant, when its not leaving me speechless I'm laughing or crying at the moving but deeply personal characters. If you enjoyed any Analgesic game you will not be disappointed! I hope I can just give back a little bit of the love I felt from this game back to the devs.
