This game is ambitious in the best way. Almost everything feels interactive, and the range of actions makes the whole experience feel very flexible and player-driven. The private ownership system is especially refreshing for a city builder: buildings and units handle their own buying through the market, so your focus shifts toward improving settlement-wide production while keeping prices affordable. Citizens also have complex behaviors that reduce the need for constant micromanagement, which keeps the game enjoyable at scale. At the same time, smart micromanagement can still improve throughput, so there is a nice balance between automation and player control. I can already see how the military system could integrate deeply with production and markets, and that should make combat both strategic and fun. There are still areas that need tuning, especially in the early game. Construction companies struggle to stay efficient without subsidies, and early log shortages can take too long to recover from. If those bottlenecks are smoothed out, the pacing and progression would feel much better.

As I expected going in, this game is as BASIC as it comes when it comes to city builders. Made with Unity Store assets, and having the overall depth of a Tic-Tac has nutritional value, this is as bad of a value as you can possibly get here on Steam. Honestly, this feels like a low effort asset flip. ..Maybe this is something AI built, but whatever it is, it takes all of 15 minutes to understand that this is NOT a well built city builder. And to add insult to injury, the asset flipping developer who pumped this game out in a very short period of time is asking the same as you can purchase the overly excellent "Ostriv" for. (It's been less than six months since his last Steam game release). Absurd. Let's just go over the problems I experienced in the first 15 minutes... and WHY I quickly requested a refund on Steam: - Changing many of the settings has ZERO effect with no "apply" button. I changed the music level to 0% and then to 100%. No difference. I also changed textures from 0% to 100% and witnessed ZERO difference. *sigh* - Immediately you are given a crew of 30 people and they almost all have the FLU (92%). - No way to control your citizens or tell them what to do a…
