I'm a patient person but not at the point where I have to download external files so the game can run properly. It's just unprofessional and dodgy. The price is £46 on steam at the moment. Obviously don't buy the game at this price, you can find cheaper keys for around £2 sometimes even less. The dev thought it would be ''funny'' to put the game at this price. Anyways the beginning is basically a tutorial which feels like a copy of mirror's edge, which by the way runs properly without external files and a much cheaper price. When you pass through the tutorial, this is mainly a walking simulator. This is your choice but personally I don't recommend this game. Asking people to download files so the game can run properly is just unprofessional. If the game needs fixing just do it. There's no checkpoints so if you die in the tutorial you start from the beginning, it’s the same later in the game, you have to restart from a long distance, also the walking stamina empties quickly so the walking pace is slow, which I usually don't mind but not in this game. Sip 'n' Savor: Where do I even begin with this train wreck? Aquarelle is about as enjoyable as trying to wrestle a salmon upstream with nothing but your bare paws. The developer must have fallen headfirst into the digital void because this game is an utter mess. Milk Mustache Moment: Trying to play Aquarelle is like trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded while standing on one leg - it's virtually impossible. Want to look around? Well, too bad! You'll need to jump through hoops and download shady files just to get basic functionality. And let's not forget about the stolen assets - talk about a lazy cash grab. There is no easy way to describe Aquarelle, by Andreev Worlds. It's something rather unusual, when it runs. A steep price tag and a pletora of bugs, including having to download something from an external site to make the game work correctly, makes this game very hard to recommend, if at all. I tried it, and I didn't understood it. Probably never will. Graphic settings had a bug and couldn't be changed, for some reason, hence why the game looks like it's running on a potato. This game is a JOKE! The tutorial looks nothing like the screenshots, it's laggy A HELL even on lowest settings (people have compleined about this ages ago and nothing happened!), the tutorial doesn't give you half of the controls and lets you restart the whole thing every time you die. When you inevetably die, you have to wait through endless loading screens, 6 seconds of countdown (WHY!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!) before you spawn back in at the very beginning. The controls are fecky AF you don't need skill to get through but pure luck. Whatever comes after that sh*tshow of tutorial is damn sure not worth 50 bucks. The dev says that this game is for the "elite players" and that the tutorial is supposed to weed out those who don't deserve to play this game. Do yourself a favour and stay away from it, it's absolutely NOT WORTH IT! I got a key for this sh*t for free and I'd like my money back!
