At Night: Haunted Ride puts you in the shoes of a ride operator running final tests on a mysterious minecart attraction in a mine, where each loop reveals darker secrets and the ride begins behaving in ways it shouldn't. The game lacks gameplay, The whole playthrough is pressing one button and waiting for results. The game is also very short with 1h or so of time to complete. 🔰🔰🔰 I like vibes of the game and the story. Worth a try for this price. A very interesting, fun and entertaining game. Especially for people that like carnivals. The ending and the story surprised me time and time again. I was very naive but happy I got the good ending.
big boned
Really cool horror game with a few twists that I didn't see coming. The ride portion at the beginning was a fun setting to explore and quite a bit more interactive than I would have thought. The pacing there could have been a bit faster though as the game picks up speed quite fast after that while the beginning in comparison seems very slow. Other than that I enjoyed the length of the experience, the humour, the sound design and Case was awesome too. Would definitely recommend!
Had a lot of fun with this "Fears to Fathom" style game. It took the genre another step forward by having the scenario be you working as a maintenance worker and having to go around the track a few times to find issues. However, it is not what it seems to be... This also moved away from a "realistic" story like what other similar games have moved towards. Deff worth trying!
Decent horror game! For the "At Night" series, this is probably the second best that Limeless has done, but the game overall is quite plain. I felt Limeless hit their peak with At Night: The Nurse, and just haven't been able to bring back that same level of game. The scares in this are all just screamers - really LOUD noises played quite frequently because you are in a spooky amusement ride. That said, the game is also like 40% filler of riding the minecart around the track back and fourth like 4 times with very little variation in it. It really did feel like padding for playtime. The overall concept was unique, and the story wasn't bad. I think just for what it is and what you get, the price is a bit steep. Definitely not a bad pickup for like $4 or less though if you get it on a better sale.
