About Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout DX
This edition includes new stories, playable characters, and features that have been added to "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout."
This game depicts the coming-of-age story of an ordinary girl named Ryza and her friends as they come in contact with alchemy and set out on a grand adventure involving the secrets of the island they call home.
• Three new playable characters
Agatha, Kilo, and Romy are now available as playable characters.
• A new story featuring Kilo and Bos
This side story follows Bos as he is chased into the Underworld and meets Kilo before reuniting with Ryza. You can also explore as Kilo!
• A new after story
This story features Ryza, Agatha, and Romy and takes place between the events of Ryza 1 and Ryza 2. Having remained on the island, Ryza now teaches the local children as a substitute teacher and must search for them when they sneak out on an adventure.
• A Custom Combat mode
Select monsters to face and set their levels. You can also change monster behavior, the speed of battle, and other settings.
• All additional content from the original game
Includes both free and paid content, such as swimsuit outfits, photo mode, and additional maps.
• Improved in-game functions and usability
- Increased basket and container capacity
- Additional graphic options
- Improved UI/UX
- Improved graphics
• Link save data from "Secret" series games for bonuses!
You can link to both the original and DX versions, allowing you to obtain useful items for your adventure.

I'm done, first this game works like garbage when you try to use keyboard/mouse - it teleports your cursor to different part of screen during some interactions, for example when you try to sell items. Some tutorials don't even mention keys that you need to press on pc - i literally had tutorial that showed to me what keys i'd need to press on xbox controller. So i finally connected my ps5 controller and now game only shows keys for xbox controller? Is that some kind of joke? If you make game that's strongly recommended to be played with controller, it should be mandatory to make it work with BOTH ps and xbox controller. Overall - good, relaxing game, but it feels like rushed port for PC3 found this helpful
first time playing atelier, and i'd say this game is incredibly CHARMING, coming from someone whos used to games with dark setting and narratives. its a palate cleanser with down to earth story with cute casts of characters, cant wait to play another one :))1 found this helpful
I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. Story was nice, but there characters were even better, loved them all. Combat system was pretty new for me in JRPG, although nothing too complicated, so it was a blast to execute the right moves on different characters while in battle. Time to move on to the second game, and now I am super excited for it. If you love Atelier games or you're a JRPG fan who also like the crafting aspect in games, this one has it all and it's definitely a must buy.1 found this helpful

Same Atelier Ryza, but you don't have to buy a bunch of DLC and it's actually prettier. Two thumbs way up.
