Pretty chill game with tons of different mechanics, you don't have to spend a lot of time figuring out the game, but you definitely can! Before finishing the game story I decided to try making insane builds and it's a whole different rabbit hole with tons of content involved. I really liked Atelier Ryza 2 and I also enjoyed Atelier Resleriana, and now I'm grinding Atelier Ryze 3, while basically rediscovering the mechanics and gameplay aspect of the series. I would definitely recommend, HOWEVER, the price is crazy high, so you should wait for discounts!

A good game, but with the new "special/gold" items that you can harvest from the beginning, you can get endgame traits right at the beginning which makes the game very easy. After making some good early equipment, I didnt need to make a replacement until near the end of the game. Ryza's alchemy is quite unique compared to the other series in that she "brute forces" the alchemy with quantity of materials. Also different traits dont combine, but instead you stack the same trait on itself to make it stronger. Overall though, the active turnbased combat is probbaly the weakpoint. I rarely used anyone but Ryza and didnt need to equip anyone else with any items

Worst Ryza game. The open world mainly feels like a slog, the cutscenes, of which their are plenty, often drop you right onto a monster when they end, and the monsters scale in level with you so leveling is pointless which more then makes up for (in a negative fashion) the combat being better then Ryza 2.

This was a step in the wrong direction in my opinion. Open world design just doesn't mix well with Atelier. Still an okay game but I prefer the second game over this one.
