It looks pretty. That's it. You can speed run this in an hour or less. The story is boring and predictable. It looks good, but is far too short to develop any emotional investment in anyone including the player character. There are many "steps" that are just filler meant to draw out your time, e.g. going to apartments 42 and 13. Visually this is amazing and beautiful, 10/10, but there's nothing underneath, nothing to draw you in and nothing to come back for a second or more playthrough. It's got a good deal of style, but no substance.5 found this helpful
A short but sweet, somewhat amateurish Portuegese Blade Runner 1997 clone. It touches on all the same themes using chunky, 1993 visuals instead of 1997 voxel models on 2D backgrounds, and while that works, I can't help but miss the English voiceovers. The story touches all the same cornerstones you expect from classic Blade Runner tribute fiction. It's fun, short, and entertaining, I can't ask for much more.3 found this helpful
Interesting story, fun puzzles, easy navigation. I kind of wish there had been more to it! 5/52 found this helpful
Okay. Not great - not terrible1 found this helpful
I'm gonna be honest; this game stinks. Like, AI stinks... It's clearly stealing the Blade Runner style (film aesthetics and game design philosophy), but replacing Runners taking down Replicants, it's you hunting down digital brains from dead people, and this game just has them lying everywhere to remind you that this is a harsh world. Crazy how advance this world is, but cloud storage and wi-fi never got developed for these digital consciousness. The puzzles are bizarre, and without logic; many times I saw them and immediately said "NOPE," and found the solutions online, and EVEN THEN, still couldn't understand what they wanted, but then later- crowbar into a literal "turn on the switch" puzzle. It's so bizarre- it has no pace, no rhyme or reason. Every hallway is the one way to get to the location, no diversions (except for a lot of people telling you no, with the obvious open gate highlighted next to them). This is a game hitting much higher than it's weight class, and I don't even think it woke up for the fight. That's why it feels AI- that and the artwork which looks NOTHING like the character in game. I didn't have fun with the puzzles. I didn't enjoy the story. I thought it…1 found this helpful
Decided to move to a better machine instead of my potato laptop and was able to get past the in-game video game, which caused me problems in the original review. I do wish there was a "meh" recommendation on steam because of the problems mentioned below and it is a bit short - but on the whole I enjoyed it enough to try for the different endings and I will replay for at least one of the missing achievements but not all. You are Tristan, who is a sentinel responsible for retrieving memories, in a SF future. [Original Review] Interesting concept as someone else pointed out it might be a bit derivative, but I tend not to worry about that. However didn't finish because of a in-game video game you have to play; the video game control was not consistent and would flake out on me - got about half the score that was needed. Why do authors put weird timing stuff like this in a point and click? Allow a skip or other mechanism to complete. Might try again later but not now. Deserves the "profile features limited." LOL could not gracefully exit the game once I started playing the in-game video game; had to go into task manager and kill the process. Also, needed consistent visible…
