I was originally excited to play this game, but found myself trudging through the end just to get it over with. The bugs made it too annoying to play with enjoyment. The worse part was, when I looked up my issues, I saw other people had those same issues YEARS ago. So the devs never bothered to fix them even though those users said they also posted their bugs in the discord. There are some minor quality of life improvements I would have loved in the game, too. If you are looking for achievements, I was able to get all of them in 27 hours, but that was me trying to race through the game to get it over with. Spoilers below: Bugs: -When automating cooking, Julia would sometimes just stop providing meals even though I had plenty of money to pay the employees. I would have to go into the menu, turn the services off and on again just to get it to work (which costs money). -Sometimes, my game would just stop letting me move items. I would have to shut down the game and boot it back up to be able to move items in rooms again. Not sure why this happened, but it happened enough to be very annoying. -During one of the end game quests, we have to host two movie buffs in the hotel …2 found this helpful
I think the main issue has been stated in a lot of places, but the UI is pretty rough. It's busy in normal M&K, but with a controller (I used Steam Deck) it'd be impossibly confusing of it weren't for the helpful tips/hints everywhere. But the slow gameplay and lack of proper introduction to new elements (I kept going back to my mom for money and had to do multiple bedrooms to get the rating up to 2 and later found the dumpster raccoon) really hampers what should be a cozy game and more gives me annoyance and anxiety where I end up rushing through dialogue. It's cute, but there's just too many little things wrong that build up to a whole lot of hassle.1 found this helpful
I absolutely loved this game! 10/101 found this helpful
I'll admit that I played this because I just really like bears, but it is does nevertheless have an engaging resource management system that can go wrong if poorly optimized. {For that reason I did also have to my cousin in law specifically, who would have been stressed out by a game telling them they had to pay their employees) I like the characters and memes hidden throughout, and I hope for the eventual continuation, if it is still on.
i loved the storyline, adorably beautiful characters and all the decorr aaa!!! i still wonder where the corridor behind hank's home leads to tho... :')
very calm and free roam
