Although some games in this series felt like there was more content, I think Winning Patterns really lacks enough content. Although the game presents a few puzzles in each mate format, I think there needs to be more puzzles in each mate format. Even for $0.99, I feel like it isn't quite worth it, esp with the UI/menu being so jank.5 found this helpful

The explanations for why a move is the correct one are severely lacking. There are often moves that look like they lead to a checkmate, but don't. And if you're not an advanced enough player, you will struggle to understand why the heck the move you are proposing is not the right one. ... 3/10
I like getting humiliated by the pringles chess guy.
Another BOT.vinnik game. Definitely worth the price if you like chess and history of it.
