The game is very fun and addicting, I had a great time playing it! Since it is a WIP I'll point out anything I can to help. There are a few minor grammatical issues in different places, I can't remember exactly where but some boss description had a word out of place and another began a sentence with a lowercase letter. Super small issue. The game ran pretty well for my weak PC. Some updates to the generated path logic might be needed to ensure it isn't a straight line to the castle. The final season generated a path that was VERY short with only 1 quick turn before getting to the castle, thankfully the enemies glitched at the castle entrance and couldn't damage it or I would've lost on round 4 lol. The monster textures can sometimes not render correctly so they look like a glowing glob. The outline is still there, but they glow. I'm guessing this is because the rest is still undeveloped, but there weren't any instructions around how to unlock the other buildings (I'm assuming by leveling up), and how XP was earned wasn't super clear. I earned 309 out of 100 XP on the last season but the other 2 categories for XP remained at 0 for all of the seasons. I'm not sure if this is based on…

I liked the game, just kinda sad the game dev stopped working on it.

Recommended A fun and polished tower defense game that really captures the spirit of Kingdom Rush while adding its own twist with the card-drawing mechanic — a clever feature that keeps each run fresh and strategic. For an early access title, it’s surprisingly smooth and well-balanced, showing a lot of promise for the full release. My only real gripe is with the tutorial, which dumps a lot of information on you at once. A more gradual, step-by-step introduction would make it much easier for new players to get into the rhythm of things. Overall, though, it’s a well-designed and engaging tower defense experience. If you’re a fan of the genre, this is definitely one to check out and follow through early access.

Castles on Clouds is pretty fun already, and if the roadmap is to be believed, stands to become even more interesting as time goes on. It plays like a Roguelight Kingdom Rush, so you can modulate what you do with each run, which does solve one of my personal problems with Kingdom Rush - there's usually one set way to beat each level in that game. Other key differences include a fifth tower type (The Support Tower), control over your economy via general buildings, and a more distinct meta-progression, both within runs and afterwards. In the interest of being fair though, those last three are definitely where the "early access" moniker comes into play. The Support Tower hasn't actually arrived yet, even though the UI shows it off. The ability to control your economy kinda exists, but both the balance of it and interactions with other gameplay elements are very much lacking at the moment. The meta-progression is in and implemented, but the balance of some of the upgrades seems wildly far off, and they lack the individual upgrade elements of Kingdom Rush. Despite the current flaws, this overwhelmingly justifies its price tag (I'd personally argue it's significantly under-valued, and …

Cute and fun roguelike tower defense. Excited to see where this one goes! Currently there's several hours of content if you want to unlock everything that's available.
