Castlevania: Belmont's Curse

Castlevania only by name This is more like Deadcells with a coat of CV paint to it. If you're looking for the modern metroid vania type game then this is your jam, but for the people looking for the old school DS era type CV this isn't it. I would suggest people look at Bloodstained Ritual of the Night if you're looking for that.

Castlevania proving once again why its a genre defining series. Had no issues on launch though I don't doubt there may be a few for others. Gameplay feels so smooth, the whip is the coolest thing ever to control

**FOR EVERYONE HAVING THE BLACK SCREEN ISSUE ON BOOT DO THIS BEFORE LEAVING NEGATIVE REVIEW** 1. RIGHT CLICK ON GAME ON LIBRARY 2. GO TO PROPERTIES 3. ON GENERAL TAB PASTE THIS UNDER LAUNCH OPTIONS: "-screen-fullscreen 0 -screen-width 1920 -screen-height 1080" (WITHOUTS QUOTATIONS) GAME SHOULD NOW BOOT UP NORMALLY, ENJOY!!

As a massive fan/nerd for this series since the original as a kid. Absolutely love it so far. I have no complaints quite yet. Love the new style. Feels fresh and classic merged very well.

It's a great game Sorry if you don't like it, probably more of a you problem, not a game problem. If you don't like female leads, then why are you playing a Metroidvania style game? Samus Aran is a girl as well lol. I had no problems running the game. Plays on my switch 2 fine too.

plays smoothly, the visuals are nothing short of stunning. it's almost an understatement to say that the game's a work of art. the voice acting is great, too. huge recommend for people who like side scrollers.
