Chemical Sort

This is a type of game that is popular on mobile and I've played multiple versions. I like this type of game but this isn't a good execution of it. For one, there is no animation of the pouring between vials. For another there isn't really any sense of progress. You just pick a color count and go. Normally there is a progression of difficulty as well as color count (usually by reducing the vials) and ways to earn powerups for more difficult games.

Fun puzzle game. It has a lot of customization options!

This game is deceptive in its depth. At first glance it is simple (not to say boring) in interface and gameplay. The basic 6 vial mode is almost trivial in difficulty with puzzles that I can solve in half a minute to a minute with fifteen to twenty moves. It becomes a game of optimization for me in how many moves can I shave off and how fast can I do it. As more vials/colors to be sorted are added solving the puzzle without clicking in a tiny placeholder vial becomes nightmarish. I was glad to have the color optimization feature because one of the default colors was nearly indistinguishable from the background on my screen with my eyes. Color acuity varies greatly and what screen is used can have a big impact as well.

A fun puzzle game akin to solitaire with some twists! The game is simple enough to figure out, but I'm sure difficult to master... especially when adding extra colors. Music is eclectic, energizing and enjoyable. Overall, I can see myself playing this when I need a moment to relax and catch my breath. Nice work!
