✦ AI summary

Players acknowledge that Chernobylite 2 launched in Early Access too prematurely with significant optimization, bug, and polish issues, leading to mixed trust in the developers. Some players appreciate the ambitious improvements over the first game, base building mechanics, and content additions over time, while others criticize repetitive faction design, grindy crafting, and combat that feels like a diluted copy of other games rather than a strong sequel. The general sentiment reflects cautious optimism for the finished product, tempered by frustration with the rough state and slow pace of fi

Game is in development hell according to the developers themselfs, developer team got massively reduced and while the game should have been already fully released since last november, we're now in july and they don't even know when it will be done eventually. There was only a statement about "possible in a year". The developers also stated that they've made many bad design choices which will corrected. For anyone thinking about getting this game, stay away until full release. 40€ for a game which is now in official development hell is too much.

Utter garbage and pure downgrade in every aspect. I expected a polished version of the first game with better optimisation, better combat system and bigger/richer world full of quest, activities, etc... Instead, devs released half-made game which copy elements of other popular games, but failes in every of them. New story being blend and typical. Overall map as small as it was, just without region borders. New RPG/trade system being a welcomed guest, but everything were made as primitive as possible, almost passive in terms of requirements for survival. Devs add more types of enemies, but fighting this mobs feels like tapping stuff in "Remnant" or other souls-like games, not like in a proper shooter. Boring and grindy gathering/crafting, real downgrade from first game. Unfinished or initially awful base building, once again - first game had smaller but better base. Overall plot and story become clownish, guess devs tried to diversify gameplay, but failed hard. End score: 4/10. Feels like playing "Once Human", but worsened in every aspect and paid (overpriced, in fact).

I finished early access , review Hello, I'm back after finishing the main story and side quests. This is what I saw while playing. , I started this game, then stopped and went to the first part and finished it, then came back to play it. This part is good, but it lacks a lot of work, like the storylines aren't as cohesive as in the first part. You literally feel that the work was done with passion and handcrafted. The atmosphere of the worlds was good, but the world itself was average. If they had left the original city and added areas to it so that the world wasn't too fantastical, it would have been better and more acceptable to people. What distinguished the first game was the blending of reality and fantasy in the real world and the human touch. I don't want to be harsh, but the world and the game are very promising and will be good. They need to adjust the maps to be consistent, not just make the world vast for the sake of it being vast. The progression of the story and the narrative, and linking it to the previous part, would be good. I mean, a trilogy of stories, one part after the other. Also, the music in the first part was good. I think the way the character is shown is …
