About Comic Company Manager

Become A Comic Publisher

Start your own comic book company. Create comics, hire people and expand your marketing.

Create Your Ideas

Core of Comic Company Manager is its Franchise system. You create new ideas by combining 3-6 tropes. After it has been created you can make comics, create merchandise and level it up.

Create Your Comics

Conquer the market with your comics. They can be based on your own ideas or you can buy or license franchises. Customize them by deciding if they should be colored or black and white, how many ads they have, what kind of paper they are printed on, how long they will run and how often they publish. There more ways to adjust them but the game also allows you to leave it up to the creators if you don't want to go that deep

Decorate Your Offices

To make comics your workers need work stations. To keep them happy you need to decorate the rooms too. Add some nice furniture so they can take a break. Paint the walls the colors you like

Manage Your Artists

Keep your workers happy or they will quit. Make sure they like their team-mates or the work will suffer. Your workers can fill roles like: Writer, Penciler, Inker, Colorist and Editor

Simulate The Comic Market

Market in the game is dynamic with readers changing tastes and AI companies creating their own comics. You are directly competing with other companies for sales as each reader is simulated and they will only buy a set amount of comics.

It's a decent management game, but it seems to have gotten harder than when I first tried it. On the lowest difficulty setting, you cannot get off the ground with your own creations, you have to use franchises. It still needs a lot of polishing too, the most annoying bug is when you load a save, it re-sets the publishing/printing contract to the one you started with, so you gotta re-negotiate the contract (and pay a signing bonus) every time you start. It also crashes on me a lot. It didn't at first, but something is making it worse over time. I had it loaded on 3 different computers, and they all did the same thing... the longer the same game goes on, the more prone it is to crashing. Start a new game, and it works fine for a while. Which brings up another point, no cloud saves! Which means if you play the game on a different device, you have to start all over again. It could use some more features too, like a simple spreadsheet to show who's working on what. When you open an employee's window too, it should show which comics they are currently working on. Overall though, I have fun playing it. You need to pour a ton of money into recruiting in order to get good staff, a…

This game saved my life.I am 27.My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide. After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side.Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I didn't beat the g…

It's REALLY clunky right now, but the idea is awesome and I can just tell it's gonna be great in the future.

I bought this game partially because I want to see more from this dev, possibly a sequel of this game in the future— and partially because the game has a strong premise. It's a little rough around the edges (many bugs), a lot of the core systems are bare bones. However, it makes up for it with an abundance of systems. There is a strong foundation here, and I hope to this improved on, if there is any sequel.

I really like the idea and the logic of the game. It needs more refinement, but is a really good start. A 6.5 on 10 for now, but it definitely can improve a lot with only some small modifications.
