About Cook For Love
Cook For Love is a cozy cooking game where you’ll be in the shoes of Clement – a young Frenchman, who gets hired at a popular Parisian restaurant. With the help of a recipe book, you will be able to cook unique dishes of varying complexity and conquer the world’s taste buds!
Clement starts his mentorship under Jean-Luc Chatillone – a culinary legend… currently onboard the Orient Express. Even though he’s away, Jean-Luc’s recipe book lands in Clement’s hands.
You will be cooking with various kitchen appliances and using many different ingredients. With over 40 available recipes you have your path laid out in front of you – now it’s time to roll up your sleeves and cook until you earn the title of a true chef.
As you learn how to cook new dishes you also earn reputation points, which in turn level up your chef experience. New recipes will be unlocked on the way and they will get more complex (and more delicious) as you go.
After everything’s ready there will be a final test… will the critics grant you the Golden Spoon, young chef?
Cook For Love is a look into the past of Grandma Rose’s husband – Clement, before he met his wife on the Orient Express. While this is not a prequel to Tell Me Your Story, it’s a look at the youth of these two lovebirds from another perspective.

The game overall is a cute and relaxing cooking game with a charming art style and cozy atmosphere. I really like the adorable characters, bright colors, and relaxing music. However, the gameplay becomes repetitive very quickly. Most of the time, you are just picking up ingredients and moving them around. There isn't much actual cooking, and the recipes do not change much as you continue playing. I was hoping for more variety and more things to unlock, but the dishes started to feel very similar.5 found this helpful
Art style is beautiful, graphics and visuals are great. But the gameplay is very boring, very simple in a bad way. Recipes and cooking are really not the forte of this cooking game. I'm glad I got it on sale, so it's not a massive loss. Still disapointing.1 found this helpful

Tell me your Story was a varied game with multiple mini-games and unclear instructions sometimes. Cook For Love focuses exclusively on cooking while keeping track of the story. The beautiful art is retained and there is hardly any confusion on what you’re supposed to do. You get asked to prepare something and you get the recipes to follow every step. While the story doesn’t really have a big plot and I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s impressive, it is about happy vibes and appreciating relationships or smaller things in life. The controls are simple to execute with a mouse and the steps are kept easy. The more recipes you complete, the better your title becomes and you will be able to prepare more dishes. There are 2 things that make me pause, the structure of the gameplay and the price. I’m totally in for keeping things simple and casual, but there could have been a more interesting structure than letting you make the same recipe 4 times straight aside from one ingredient being different before moving on to the next recipe. It felt a bit like padding. On that note, the price of around €15 also surprises me due to what I mentioned and taking no more than 2.5 hours to complete the ga…1 found this helpful
It was a cute cooking game with a lovely art style. I like how the meaning of food was presented. However, it got a little repetitive and the story was a bit lack lustre.1 found this helpful
this game should be 5$ and for children. its incredibly simple, boring and monotonous. but a child might enjoy it.
