Cooking Trip is an asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated someone else's example/template/tutorial game for a cooking/platespinning restaurant mobile app, changed the name/reskinned a couple of things, and submitted it to Valve as if it was their own game. Cooking Trip is a pointless restaurant management platespinning type screen tapper/clicker mobile app. As featured in hundreds of mobile apps, gameplay here is a woeful routine of platespinning... that is to say, you need to tap on your iPhone screen to satisfy various customers as they come in and take care of other little busywork jobs. You'll soon find yourself tapping away madly at your iPhone as you have so many customers all at once! Surely the iPhone is the greatest gaming platform of all time, so understandably the developer wants you to pay them for this free mobile app garbage on Steam. They've dumped this same restaurant manager platespinning mobile app on Steam before. I've seen this same mobile app on app stores from completely different publishers with slightly different skins on it. More intellectual bankruptcy and plagiarism from these guys. Here's a list of the ass…

I wish there was a 50/50 recommendation button, because I'm stuck in the middle on whether I recommend this or not. Is it worth the full price? Absolutely not. But is it worth it on sale for a couple bucks? Yes. I completed the full game with all levels at 100% in only about 7 hours. If you like games like Diner Dash and Cake Mania.. then you'll love this one! But keep in mind, it's only 60 levels. If they had like 5 times that, I'd understand why they're charging so much, but I think they're asking a lot of money for a game that honestly should be free in my opinion. (I mean, just look up cooking games on your web browser.. there are plenty exactly like this game for free with no download needed, and also with more added creativity in the levels). As short as it was, I did enjoy the gameplay; it was fun! Which is the reason I give this a thumbs up (and also considering I bought it on the 90% off sale). But would I buy it again? No.

Cooking Trip is a casual restaurant management game developed by GameOn Production and published by 8Floor that focuses on the excitement and pressure of operating fast-moving kitchens across a culinary journey filled with increasingly demanding challenges. Designed around accessible time management gameplay, the title delivers an experience centered on multitasking, efficiency, and constant movement rather than deep restaurant simulation systems. It embraces a familiar formula but succeeds by presenting it through an energetic cooking adventure that rewards quick decisions and organized thinking. The game's concept follows aspiring chefs striving to build their reputation while traveling through different locations and mastering culinary challenges along the way. Rather than telling an elaborate story, Cooking Trip uses progression as motivation, encouraging players to continue advancing toward bigger goals and greater achievements. The sense of career growth gives structure to the experience, making each completed stage feel like another step toward culinary success rather than a disconnected collection of levels. Gameplay revolves around serving customers quickly and efficient…
