About Creeper World IXE
Creeper World IXE is a real-time strategy game in the Creeper World franchise with groundbreaking pixel-level simulation. Command a squad of ships, coordinate your tactics, and fight back the alien menace known as "The Creeper," an all-consuming fluid enemy that has already devoured thousands of colonies.Your mission: stop the Creeper's endless advance or all life in the universe will perish. Unlike previous encounters, humanity now possesses a technological advantage that you can harness not only to survive, but to dominate the galaxy.
In Creeper World IXE you will liberate and explore hundreds of worlds in this real-time strategy game where the enemy is a fluid and every pixel of the terrain is simulated. Terraform through dozens of terrain types to use gravity and nature against the enemy. Bring awesome new weapons to use against chambers of compressed Creeper that explode outwards with ripple and wave mechanics.
Combine sand, particle, and creeper fluid simulations to open up new strategies and threats. Bring multi-weapon units to a dynamic battlefield as you explore worlds for secrets of the Creeper. Gain experience from your victories and unlock new and amazing technologies to help in your fight.
Create and play custom maps with new and original units made by the community or yourself! 2D-pixel graphics are married with a detailed and robust custom map and unit creation system, so nearly anyone with an idea can make a unit or a mission and share it with others. Use built-in control modules, or craft your own with robust built-in RPL scripting.
The Creeper is an ancient fluid-like enemy that relentlessly spreads across terra-formable terrain; engulfing and destroying anything that crosses its path. With sufficient firepower, you can push back the Creeper. But, in most cases it cannot be killed entirely by simply shooting at it. It is a foe that constantly regenerates through Creeper Emitters in its never-ending goal of consuming all living matter.
The only way to stop the creeper is to find and destroy the emitters and destroy the IXE Cores on each planet. Only by finding all of the cores and activating them simultaneously will The Creeper be destroyed and the planet saved. Achieving this goal will be no easy task. Command your squad of ships carefully.
Explore each planet while making sure you hold your ground. Locate, activate and destroy the IXE Cores. As easy as this might seem, at first glance, The Creeper will constantly push to thwart your efforts and attack in surprising ways to throw you off balance. Keep a cool head, be prepared, and use the environment to your advantage. That is the key to your success.

Another great sequel to all the creeper games ever made... Congratulation to the designer, keep going, I played them all and I will play the next one. Fluid mecanic, fluid mixing mecanic... all ship have a purpose and need to be used together... Live long and prosper2 found this helpful
Creeper World is always a favorite for me, and IXE very much deserve a recommend! That being said, I think I prefer CW3 and CW4 over IXE. This side-on view and very slimmed down version of terraforming feels like it detracts from the fluid dynamics that makes Creeper World interesting. I have played for 50 hours and feel very satisfied with my purchase, but next time I want to replay a CW game I will probably not choose IXE1 found this helpful
Nice game, I knew the other creeper ones, interesting
A fun take on a classic. Creeper world IXE is just as fun as creeper world 3, and 4.
It was okay. Its not like the other creeper world games where you fight on a flat surface with an ocean of creeper coming at you and stuff but its got some interesting aspects to it. However, I do wish the story had been a little better. More thought out, better plot, something that wasn't so easily predictable. That part was the disappointing one really. I suppose it was just to get the game out and try something new but still! There could have been some more story, and additional missions. Each star only had a single mission around it, I had hoped to find star systems with multiple missions to choose from but nah. I also found myself not using the chemistry stuff all that much. Finding it easier to just brute force instead of having to make a shielded pot to drop stuff into, suck it back up, drop more stuff into, suck it back up, get the right mixtures, etc. I'll probably just try and grab the last of the achievements though and possible return to the other creeper world games. I'm not so sure I liked this one enough to keep playing it for long. But yea, it was an okay game. Sorry I can't give a soaring recommendation here. :P The small story and lack of many missions…
It's got the same theme as the rest of the Creeper World games, but doesn't really play anything like them, not even Creeper World 2 which has the same sort of side view of the game world. There's no real base building compared to any of the others, and the default mode means you can only build a small number of ships or other units. Unlike Particle Fleet the limited ship options actually feel really restrictive, and it feels kind of like the Free Build mode is essential for it to feel like there's actual gameplay instead of a level being an interactive cutscene. The text is also harder to read than the other games, and can look really odd at times depending on the game resolution or zoom level. It just feels unpolished.
