Yes, this is your grandfather's Creeper World 2. Now on Steam and with two new and amazing soundtracks from Finn M-K, the composer who did the OST scores for Creeper World 3 and Particle Fleet!

Employ advanced weapons, gravity manipulating repulsors, wormhole like rifts, and your own wit against this never yielding enemy. Great game, great genre, and support truly never ends. Been over 2 decades now and this game that was originally a 'Flash game' is now on the PC via Steam. Gotta love the classics!1 found this helpful
Iconic CW experience. If you like your top-down RTS experience looking like it hopped out of Windows 98, this is your game. Fantastic soundtrack. Play it. Play all the Creeper World games.
The dark horse of the Creeper World series, but one that has aged excellently. The way that the digging combines with the side-view allows you to create your own chokepoints to fight through makes it a distinctly fun experience that no other game in the series captures. The way that terrain provides hard limits on energy generation is very cool as well.
I have very mixed feelings about this game. I don't really care for the main campaign. The first dozen levels are easy, but drag on after the outcome is inevitable. This can be shortened with more aggressive strategies, but there's a lot of time spent that amounts to busywork. And the levels from 13 on are punishing. In particular, the final level is aggravating because it doesn't do a good job of explaining its new mechanics, making it very easy to run out of resources at the end. Why am I leaving a positive review? Because the core gameplay is, for the most part, quite solid, and the bad taste left in my mouth by the campaign was alleviated by the bonus levels, which are much more fun. They tend to explore game concepts in challenging or creative ways without going overboard or overstaying their welcome. I actually quite admire the change from the overhead terrain view of the other Creeper World games; it's nice to see it converted to something else. This is definitely a title I'd give a mixed review to if that option existed, but in its absence, I lean toward the positive.
just as good as CW1! highly recommend
The weakest entry in the CW series, I think, but still worth the money.
