About Creeper World: Anniversary Edition
Yes, this is your grandfather's Creeper World. Now on Steam and with updated unit graphics!
Imagine an enemy that is everywhere and moves like a giant, organic mass across the map.
Imagine your base and your people surrounded by a blanket of crushing destruction from all directions. Your only hope, well what hope?
Then you take the high ground and pound this enemy into oblivion. You've saved the day just so you can do it again and again. Do you have what it takes to save your great city and all of history?
The Anniversary Edition includes new and shinier unit graphics, increased resolution background images, and the same awesomely high ration of strategic depth to game complexity.

Great game, been playing for years off and on. It'll run on just about any PC from the past 15yrs no problem which is nice when you need to kill some time. I wish it had save states and volume controls but it is what it is.1 found this helpful
1000+ hours of game play, I got so so so so much more for my money from this game than any other. The real value comes from all the user created maps on the forums so definitely go to the customs maps page and download them all.1 found this helpful
This is an oldie but a goodie.
While it is not as well done as the other games this game is one I played a while back, it was on kongerate and I loved it then, I remember playing this and the second base games over and over because it was fun. and now years later it his become something amazing. It may seem repetitive to some but it is still the start to something wonderful.
Relatively simple compared to the later entries, but the core gameplay got defined here and there's a reason it warranted sequels. Building out your network and taking space against the flood of Creeper is fundamentally satisfying. The fact that in this entry, you can't destroy it, only run and survive, gives it an interesting vibe that later entries would lose. My playtime is low cause I mostly played earlier versions.
