About Cursed House 4
Cursed House 4 is the first game that can be called a Match 3 Puzzle. It's important not just to mindlessly create combinations, but to think about the sequence in which to do everything. This game features a new bonus system, levels where you can get stuck if not played correctly, and special challenge levels that players can choose to play and replay. These levels require some thought!
The game includes:
100 Match 3 levels needed to rid the house of ghosts
50 optional challenge Match 3 levels of special difficulty
9 Spot the difference scenes
A mansion ruined by ghosts that needs to be restored and cleansed of evil spirits

I've been revisiting the older games of this series recently; haven't played them in quite a while. Cursed House 4 is quite a pleasant surprise to rediscover. It's a very long game, 100 M3-puzzle levels in the base game, and 40 bonus levels which are extra challenging. Several extra widgets were added as compared to Cursed House 3, and most of the "toolbox" used for the series was present by this installment. Care was taken with the design of the playing tiles, so everything is now easily distinguishable. There isn't a plethora of minigames here...just 10 or so spot the difference scenes, most of which appear early on in the game. I'm not sure why this is, because there are only 1 or 2 spot the difference minigames appearing in the entire second half of the game and a long period of just playing M3-puzzle levels without any minigames at all. The bonus M3-puzzle levels unlock gradually as you go along and it will take until nearly the end of the base game before all the bonus levels are available to play. Despite the dreaded black coins not having been invented yet at this point of the series, the bonus levels are quite difficult and will require thinking in advance to solve…1 found this helpful
"Cursed House 4" is an atypical match-3 game with minigames as bonus. It runs flawlessly and it will stimulate your brain! A very tricky match-3 with power-ups and unique ways to solve the puzzles. You get to banish the evil creatures and through the use of an ancient amulet that you slowly power up, to restore the house to its former glory! The game contains the minigame Spot the Difference. The levels themselves are hard but leave an impression and above all they are fun. So you will be glad it wasn't a piece of cake that required no thinking and ended in 10 minutes. The visual effects, animations and music will help a lot in keeping you calm and focused on the task at hand. If you are stuck, you can use the hint system, which I find very good, comprehensive and helpful. On top of that, they have added a beautifully crafted grimoire as help. It will keep you busy for hours but without overstaying its welcome and you can always replay it due to its nature. One of the most fun and intriguing match-3 puzzle games out there. Cursed House! The earlier ones are more challenging IMHO than the later ones, and this one is challenging.
