Dandy Ace is an over the top fast-paced roguelike experience that follows a fabulous magician seeking to combine and use his magical cards while fighting and looting his way to defeat the Green-Eyed Illusionist, Lele, who has imprisoned him in a cursed mirror. While battling your way through Lele’s ever changing palace, combine different cards with more than a thousand possibilities, each with their own playstyles and powers. Every run provides new challenges and combinations for players to explore as they progress closer to Lele.Play as Dandy Ace, the amazing hero, and survive the challenges of the extravagant, lavish and ever changing palace created to defeat him filled with bizarre creatures and outrageous bosses. Find all of the magical cards, gather shards and gold, and get help from his assistants and unconventional allies.
- Rogue-lite experience: Try, die and try again until you beat the Green-Eyed Illusionist with the replayability and adrenaline of a rogue-like with permanent upgrades that makes you stronger as you progress further with each run.

If you like that Dead Cells / Hades genre and you're looking for something in that vein, I think you should pick this up on sale and give it a shot. For me, it didn't quite live up to other games in that genre, so I put it down after awhile - but I still recognize the quality of it.2 found this helpful

Is okay lah...is playable...However the enemy is quite strong, no really a good in balance. Active skills and passive skill also are no good in design, 3/4 of them i never use... I buy with price RM9++ and play with fun 9 hours++. The game Is acceptable if buy on discount price.
An extremely good action roguelite. Tons of build variety every run, huge variety of skills, fun enemies with decent variety enhanced by varying route options, good boss fights. The mechanic where each skill you pick up can also be a buff is a lot of fun.
the progression is a bit out of whack, you'll end up finishing the game before you unlock half of the cards, trinkets, etc. This could easily be fixed if they let ya keep the shards in between runs instead of just losing them all. Still i think is worth a playtrough, the art is charming and the gameplay is responsive.
Very solid roguelike. Good variety of cards skills to mix and match to try new builds. Despite the looks, it's rather tough if you brave the upper difficulties. Not to mention pretty stylish
