EDIT: Not one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "guide" out there could figure this ♥♥♥♥ out, but you know what fixed it? Changing the install path from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ c:/program files(86) to install path on another hard drive. Steam for some reason with certain games doesnt gain enough access to run games from the default install path which was causing this retarded loop of asking for access even though it had access. So cause of this out of pure spite and frustration I wont recommend this game even if there are a few nice little QoL upgrades to the mechanics. Hopefully a faithful remake is made for recent hardware. Original: Can't recommend a game that won't even launch.

- Does not work on windows 10 by default. Needs downloading of extra files to work. It´s cumbersome that so many games does not work on steam but yet are sold on the platform. I probably played it on windows 7 last time In the other game released by Haggard games you can start a setupfile in the games folder to make it work on windows then by following some instructions on a Steamthread. Same sort of setupfile can be found in this games folder but instead just gives an error.

Death to Spies: Moment of Truth is a TREMENDOUS stealth game and way better than the first one. This thing doesn’t hold your hand at all, you mess up, you’re done. Pure stealth, planning, patience, and actually using your brain instead of running around. When it clicks, it feels amazing. The aesthetic is so damn good too. That cold war/ww2 vibe, the missions, the whole atmosphere, it just hits different and makes everything feel more tense. It’s tough, yeah, sometimes rough around the edges, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re into stealth, this is a gem. 9/10, underrated, totally worth it.

Far shorter than it's predecessor, Moment of Truth has a lot more polish compared to the original game. For starters, your protagonist no longer looks like he was carved out of butter and mash potatoes, they dropped the terrible voice acting and did improve it (though it's still odd hearing a RUSSIAN speaking in a gravely, evil sounding, American voice), they seemed to realize that giant maps wasn't a great idea so did reduce them to a more traversable size and everything just looks better in general. I feel like gun play was improved too, and the mission designs were more focused: it wasn't "cross giant map, go to base, do basic task, go all the way back across map to task", it was now "go to location, oh no nazis, use sewers to go underneath, get disguise, find documents, kill target, escape using his car", it has more of an identity now. However, because of the reduced size, it does feel like an expansion pack rather than a stand alone game (it is a stand alone, just to be clear, and runs smooth as butter on Windows 10 without any crashes). If you enjoyed the original, you should absolutely love the more intricate nature of this one. And if you didn't enjoy the original, that…
