About Doomspire

Once a towering monument that pierced the heavens, the Doomspire now crumbles inward, its roots descending into darkness, where doom awaits all who descend. Collect powerful cards and passive powers, build synergies, and adapt your strategies as you progress. But beware—the deeper you go, the darker and more perilous the journey becomes.Key Features:

✦ AI summary
Players consistently criticize the game for severe lack of variety, with repetitive enemy encounters, limited card options, and factions that all play identically despite early promise. The core gameplay loop becomes tedious quickly as players resort to the same overpowered strategies like the ramp bundle, and the single endless run mode offers no progression or structural variety to maintain engagement beyond the first few hours.
You have so many card games to get inspired by. I can't believe these are the card effects and types you have come up with. The game is like an early iteration of a draft. There is no excitement here.2 found this helpful
its just dissapointing.1 found this helpful
fun for about 10 rooms then you've seen it all, ive played every single faction at least once, each of them need more variety in playstyles, realistically you always need to take the same cards for every faction. the ramp bundle is disgustingly broken. makes the game not challenging at all. if you want to just spam the same cards over and over again just to get something else that makes the game even more trivial go ahead and spend your money.1 found this helpful
I just want one Hearthstone Dungeon inspired game with a good AI but there's alway something turning me off massively everytime I try one. Here the variety is very poor and the gameplay is basically everybody spam the same monsters buffed by passive effects non-stop, it's extremly boring and repetitive. I asked a refund.1 found this helpful
The devs hardcode loss conditions through AI DO NOT BUY I used to hustle people at magic the gathering for cards and cash, I understand deck building, engines, draw statistics etc. I ended every match at full health and went on to the last match The boss just started to buff all of her creatures with +50 to +200 attack. with multiplicative buffs when at best a player gets additive buffs, THere is no way to win through that sheer wall of inflated damage, it is like the AI decided I was doing to well so it forced a loss condition. I am unistalling this is bad coding and I will never buy any product that Crater makes again
The only mode is an endless run where you play until you lose or give up in frustration. Usually these types of modes are an extra thing you get at the end after you get tired of the main game, but that's all there is here. There's also barely any enemy or card variety. I've seen the same handful of enemies over and over even after playing for only an hour or two. There's some good stuff in there but it feels like half the game is missing.
