About Dragon Spirits : Prologue
In the Prologue part of this game, you will enjoy the first 3 weeks of student life in the Dragon Spirits Academy and there are also many side stories to explore and experience.
While constantly working on a video game without any rest, a college student who's about to graduate quietly slipped into slumber several times.
His workmate, as well as his childhood best friend, advised him to take some decent sleep, but he simply wanted to get the game done before graduation to prove himself.
However, the mystery is that, in those lucid dreams, he found himself in the game he's been working on —— a fantasy world of Dragon Spirits.
His memory of the real world fades in and out among these dreams.
He found himself became as his younger self and met his childhood best friend again. They are all junior school students here, learning how to master the power of Dragon Spirits with the help of their teachers and many other classmates.
Déjà vu, he just cannot understand why everything felt so familiar and miraculous.

Features:
- Adapted from a self-made board game created by one of the developers. She designed it at her very young age. Her teacher laughed and said that it is absolutely worthless and impossible to become a real video game. Many years later, she made this game for celebrating her graduation from college.
- Catch, Train, Battle! The core of its game mechanic is inspired by the Pokémon series. Rest assured that our unique design will deliver a distinctive experience.
- Tactical, challenging, and exciting real-time combat system. You need to choose the 4 skills for every Dragon Spirit in your team to create an optimized combination for battles, you must know when would be the best to use them.
- There are plenty of side quests and challenges to discover and conquer, but be sure to enjoy your colorful school life. You can even reveal the secrets hidden among the history of Dragon Spirits.
- 100+ beautiful and characteristic illustrations of Dragon Spirits from various talented artists.

"Dragon Spirits : Prologue" isn't even an RPG Maker asset flip, it's worse, it's an advertisement for an RPG Maker asset flip. I mean... would you sign up for a poke in one of your eyes with a blunt stick so you can decide whether you want to get both eyes done? No? Then why would you download a garbage advert for an RPG Maker asset flip? In case you want to know what this "game" is (that this is an advertisement for), it's an RPG Maker asset flip, badly translated, with the usual high school anime club dropout fanfiction plot. It's pure garbage. I know, RPG Maker has an absolutely trash reputation, but we should remember this reputation has been thoroughly earned. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is only free in the same way that ad…3 found this helpful
It is very similar to the old pokemon games for game boy color.2 found this helpful
Originally posted on Dragon Quill. Comments are enabled there. This is a Chinese game that unfortunately had a really sloppy English localization. Just about every text box contains a grammatical error. Some are minor, but others make the text incomprehensible. As a result I can’t fairly judge the writing. I can, however, judge the plot, which is that a game developer gets isekai’d into the world of the game he’s developing. Yes, it’s the video game equivalent of authors writing novels about authors. Except they don’t even do much with this, because the protagonist immediately forgets his past life and thinks he’s a regular inhabitant of the world, and just, why. Why couldn’t they just make a regular game without this layer of weirdness? The dragons are really pretty, the battle system uses an ATB system which I’m meh about, and capture mechanics seem to be slightly more consensual than Pokemon’s, but I can’t really tell because the translation is incomprehensible. That’s about all I can say.1 found this helpful
actually surprisingly good? cute and fun, it has a lot of charm and the dragon designs are absolutely sick. the ui has alot of thought put into it (especially the menu designs) and the story/characters are both funny and endearing. Theres also a surprising amount of care put into the dialogue and banter between the two mcs, as certain lines change depending on what you do in the overworld and alters their reaction depending on it. There are some qol options you get through exploring and fun silly things they put in that make you realise they really did their best to make the world feel as interesting and lived in as possible (you can find a student's secret fanfiction about their teacher for example, or a chunni student's notebook about being the chosen one). Music is great as well. If you're still on the fence about paying, the prologue alone gives you hours of time with this game - its one of the longest and most comprehensive demos i have ever played! highly recommend you give this a try!
