DragonFangZ - The Rose & Dungeon of Time

I love and hate this game.

This game gave me such a nostalgic boost, I used to love playing Torneko back in the day and this game is exactly like it, now I just need to buy and do Shiren the Wanderer, hehe. I like this kind of dungeon crawlers. DragonFangZ has a fancy title, the name is supposed to be the fabled sword you are on a quest to find but you, as a player, never actually see it or use it or battle "Its too powerful" your fairy companion whines "You wont learn anything if you are overpowered", the wise tree guardian says as he nods in his own selfish satisfaction. fools! all of em! hahaha! The game is very similar to normal mystery dungeon games with the cool mechanic of using monster abilities through the use of their dropped fangs to explore and navigate the procedurally generated floors of the 3 non-dlc dungeons, as on par, you can bring out a few items from the dungeons to your next run, actually you could bring an inventory full of em, except to the last dungeon where you cant bring any. The game also has 50 puzzle floors called Fairy Garden which are very good to learn the game's mechanics and test your intelect, some are very, very hard but there are guides you can use after your level of …

Felt like a mobile game. There are plenty of turn based dungeon crawler roguelikes on steam that have much better pacing and gameplay to offer. Also the game suffers from weird english translation and is unnecessarily loaded with abysmal dialogues. The music is okay but the entire UI feels like its straightaway ripped from a mobile game. Maybe it is a port of a mobile game i don't know. I would rather play something like Rogue Fable III instead of this.

Very good game, unique in their own way. It's a game similar to [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1443430/Rogue/] Rogue [/url] (Rogue-like), same style of [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1178790/Shiren_the_Wanderer_The_Tower_of_Fortune_and_the_Dice_of_Fate/]Shiren the Wanderer[/url]. The Fang mechanic and skills are great! The only cons to me are the pre-teen aesthetic and voice, I don't like it, beside that the price of the DLC hahaha expensive but maybe in the future I'll buy The Cave of Fangs and/or The Inferno Hollow. I would like to have updates and a way to mod/chance the texture would be great.

This game is fun, if you ever play Shiren the Wanderer it's like that game, turn based, monsters move when you move, but the main heroine and her companion are quite talkative and funny, it's quite Charming. The translation seems a bit off, but I don't mind its not bad and it may be even funny the way it is. I recommend it for anyone who likes those mystery dungeon games like Shiren the Wanderer.

Very good and colorful mystery dungeon roguelike game with a lot of items,skills and different enemies that can share their skills to help in battle 👍
