One of the worst games I've ever played. There's no tutorial or explanation, you're just thrown in a room where you can walk or place bombs while a timer counts down. It seems like no matter what you do you will keep dying because the timer always runs out before you can get to the exit. It's completely broken as there is a bomb glitch that runs off the timer so you can quickly run to the exit but only if you use it in certain places which is incredibly dumb. Beyond that I don't even think certain sections could be completed. It seems like there was a good idea here but it's so fundamentally broken and unplayable that the only guide online is recommending glitches to beat it, so I would say definitely pass on this one.3 found this helpful
6/10 Dungeons & Bombs is a Sokoban style puzzle game with 50 levels and a goofy storyline where you must save a bearded princess. Silly, challenging, and simple. Dungeons & Bombs sets itself apart from the rest by involving a storyline into their otherwise simple Sokoban style puzzles. You play as a pyromaniac hero who goes through levels and defeats foes… with lots of explosions. The main objective is to get to the end and save the bearded princess. The levels provide real challenge and the story itself plays out in a way that is as charming as it is goofy. The artstyle, music, and sound effects are all nice and add to the silly feeling of the game. I encountered no bugs while playing. It took me ~1 hour to complete the game with all achievements with the help of a guide, I’d expect it’d take way longer without one. No cards. The premise itself is pretty simple and the game, apart from the storyline, doesn’t bring anything new to the genre. There’s no tutorial so you need to be familiar with these kinds of puzzles prior to playing. It’s fun and if you like this style of game it’s worth a playthrough but it wouldn’t be the first I’d recommend in the genre. Pros
…2 found this helpful
Dungeons & Bombs is a compact, logic-driven puzzle game that deliberately strips its design down to fundamentals, then challenges players to master them through precision and foresight. Developed and published by PigeonDev, the game blends grid-based movement, strict action limits, and timed explosives into an experience that feels rooted in classic puzzle traditions while still carving out a clear mechanical identity of its own. Rather than overwhelming the player with systems or narrative exposition, it focuses almost entirely on the satisfaction of solving tightly constrained problems. The core gameplay revolves around navigating small, dungeon-like rooms where every action matters. Each level gives the player a limited number of moves, and every step taken, bomb placed, or interaction performed counts against that total. Bombs explode after a fixed number of steps, forcing players to think several moves ahead and plan not only where to place explosives, but when they will detonate relative to their own position. This creates a strong emphasis on sequencing and spatial awareness, as poorly timed actions can quickly lead to dead ends or self-inflicted failure. Success rarely com…1 found this helpful
A short and fun puzzle game that was a delight to play.
I played a similar game back in my childhood and this one brought me right back there. It's engaging with a pleasant design and offers plenty of beautiful yet challenging levels. Definitely worth buying
Worst Sokoban game I've played. the game sometimes doesn't register your inputs (especially your bombs) and then has segments that you need to rush exploiting a glitch in the code where the level fails to end because a bomb explosion is supposed to happen. EDIT: Another extremely annoying thing is if you don't let the bomb animation finish you'll die due to moving a zone that was supposed to explode last turn. EDIT 2: I'm pretty sure some of the levels are reused, sometimes 3 times.
