***8 june 2026 Edit - Most of the concerns were addressed by the developer, which is absolutely great practice! I encourage you to give it a try!*** Idle & Incremental Lovers reviewed Early Bird gets the Space Worm and gives it a neutral rating : [i] Your skill tree is as a plinko: that's the most creative, fun and enjoyable part. The rest of the game suffers from pace issues: upgrades are slow to unlock and your bird really feels slow and weak. [/i] + Credit where credit is due, the plinko-style skill tree is a well-implemented great idea! - A run is barely enough to unlock one upgrade. - The former would still be OK if the run where fast and full of dopamine, but there's not enough action, your bird is way to slow, your weapons are way too weak, and there are way too less blocks to break. - Controlling the bird with your mouse is not a very enjoyable experience. It would probably feel better with a controller. - The tutorial message popping up at the start of each run is freaking annoying. :-) - The ending is disappointing, nearly unnoticeable (a small "You beat the game" message at the bottom of the screen when you beat the last level). Progression is very slow. You're actually punished for choosing to build better blocks - they have too much health. Poorly balanced, rewards not rewarding enough. I disliked the plinko upgrade mechanic especially when there was no fast forward button. Could be better with a few updates! Wish you all the best dev
