Well this is just complete and utter bulls**t.Those idiotic, moronic Terranoids think they can just roll in here and take over my beautiful Tyrythian kingdom? The kingdom that I built from the ground up with my bare hands, and only sort of inherited from my dear, sweet, extremely dead father?Did I mention that this is bulls**t?It’s fine though, because what they don’t realize is that I am going to make them very, very dead. Along with my trusty sidekick and childhood nursing bot Milky – please do not ask me questions about that – I will whizz over to Earth, turn it into a stinking pile of rubble, and be back home in time for a warm glass of milk before bed.Earth Must Die is the story of my glorious rise to power (off the back of my adored father’s passing), my subsequent accidental surrender to the Terranoids, and my infamous revenge against Earth and everything it stands for.Apparently the story is retold in the form of one of those old point and click adventure games that people gave a sh*t about in the 1990s, I wanna say? But in 2026. Doesn’t sound like a good idea to me, but what do I know – I’m just a benevolent, terrifying leader of worlds who everyone loves and also super respects.I’m also not sure what the phrase “British comedy royalty” is supposed to mean, but I guess they got a bunch of “funny” f*ckwits to dub over my glorious voyage to feed the Terranoids their own bumholes? Let me just copy/paste the list here so I don’t have to give them any more time and effort than they deserve:How do I not have someone to do this for me? Anyway, apparently my magnificent story is told over a series of many hours, and you click a bunch and things happen and really I don’t care about any of this, I’m just here for the glory.Can you experience my unbelievably cool story through whatever this is, something called “Steam”? It's apparently how you accessed experiences like this back in 2025. This is a playable critique of post-Brexit Britain, the US, and demcratic backsliding in Europe and beyond under 21st century technofascism, aided and abetted by brainwashing media empires, technobajillionaires, depraved functionaries, servile apparatchiks and, well, the proles, who are always up for another round of: "this guy says it like it is!" My problem is that the satire often falls flat, and the main character does not undergo any character development, which is definitely something the game hinted at, thanks to Milky's insistence at, maybe, just maybe, reforming the Ascendancy. But in the end, the writers must have decided that a happy end shall not be had. Earth does indeed die. This makes the game punk, I suppose, in the very facile, "no future" kind of way that is egregiously irresponsible, given the fact of what we are up against, IRL. Which is fine. It's a vision for what an anarchic comedy game can aspire to. Is the actual critique that people who think they are the Main Protagonists who should be on the chopping block first? Or that robots that nurse our egos are working for the downfall of the human race? I mean, "No More Robots" sure sounds like a dead …3 found this helpful

Neato adventure game. Fun, reasonable puzzles and design, and has it's own brand of humour (as opposed to endless references). I liked it quite a bit!1 found this helpful
If you like British comedy and adventure games you'll probably like this. I enjoyed it for the most part. I didn't really care for the ending but it was a good time overall.1 found this helpful
Earth Must Die is a beautifully rendered cartoonish sci-fi epic. As Vvalak, dictator of the Tyrythian Ascendancy, it's up to you to make sure it prospers. Unfortunately, he alerts the Terranoid Empire and they invade his sector of space. And from here we start a one man rebellion to take them down and get back to despotic rulership. One thing that I really liked about this one was that there's no inventory at all. Vvalak does not like getting his hands dirty, so he orders around those in the area to do his bidding. And there is plenty of hilarity to be had here, too. I'd consider this a very good contender for an adventure game of the year as it's very well written and the voice acting is impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a funny sci-fi point-and-click adventure game experience.
