absolute trash. I'm so disappointed. I wasted my money....6 found this helpful
Not as good as Renegade or Target Renegade on the 8-bits. It just doesn't feel right. Too many keys. Enemies taking hits when they shouldn't do - ie. when I'm kicking in the opposite direction. Back-kicks and flying-kicks look rubbish. Enemies follow too closely when I move - There should be a slight delay. The game started in a resolution which didn't fit on my screen, and then the alternative resolutions offered are bizarrely limited. My monitor is 1680x1050 but this was not supported. Even 1920x1080 is not supported. Mouse pointer stays on the screen when the game is in play. On the positive side, the game looks nice. Sounds are ok too.3 found this helpful
Started this at a friend's house and I was reminded why this game doesn't feel GOOD. Timing feels off, enemies constantly chasing you, spongey enemies, back kicking when I have a weapon an enemy also in front of me, amateurish stage start and ending screens. It looks ok, has a decent soundtrack but the gameplay is just not there. It feels like I'm playing in thick mud while everyone else is in a set movement rack with no restrictions. And I see they're working on a sequel and I wish them the best buy if they did something like the differences in Sor to SoR2 levels than I'll take a look and if it's awesome than maybe one day they could do that with this game and completely rework it, time will tell I guess.2 found this helpful

Rather than attempting to modernize the genre with elaborate progression systems or cinematic storytelling, the game focuses on delivering straightforward, action-packed combat that recalls the golden age of arcade brawlers. From the moment players step into its colorful pixel-art world, the experience is built around fast action, cooperative fun, and the satisfaction of clearing streets filled with enemies. Its premise is simple but effective: the city has fallen under the control of the ruthless crime boss Kane, and it is up to the legendary Eight Dragons to fight through waves of criminals and restore order. One of the game's biggest strengths lies in its diverse cast of playable heroes. Each member of the Eight Dragons has their own personality and individual storyline, giving players a reason to revisit the campaign multiple times. Although the overarching objective remains the same, the narrative unfolds from different perspectives depending on the…
One of the hardest beat em ups, I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I just wish it was easier to set up the controls for certain controllers.
Nice as remake, not so good as beat'em up
