About Factory Train: DreamLine
It's sometime around 2100 and DreamLine is one of the last places on earth where humans live. People stopped procreating long ago. They all live in their little boxes, connected to each other by DreamLink. H01 decides one day to go on a journey to the End of the World, a place people supposedly walk outside their boxes. You are the train AI tasked with delivering him. Will the sci-fi + steampunk train H01 made be enough for the journey?
Build
You will need resources to survive this journey. Build Ice Shovels to collect snow that can be converted into steam. Build Smelters to smelt the scraps collected from the city into useful metal. Build Chemical Boilers to increase your steam power capacity. Build Crawler Depots and Drone Depots to increase your logistics capabilities.Explore
Explore the decaying DreamLine. Find Metal and Chip storage facilities for quick materials. Dig through the towering Scrapyards for an infinite source of metal, if you can smelt it. Find powerful upgrades scattered around the city, and maybe you will also learn a bit about its past.Repair
DreamLine is in a state of decay and disrepair. Your journey will be dangerous. Keep some metals handy to administer field repairs to keep your machines functioning. Your train is designed for this, but will you be able to balance the resource needs?Research
H01 was too eager to begin the journey. You will need to research better machines to successfully complete your mission. Go through the tiers. Eventually unlock Polymers, a new material that advanced buildings use. Do the calculations needed to add more carts to your train. Upgrade the main engine.Fight the Cold
It's cold outside. The human on board needs plenty of heat to survive. Balance the life support with steam needed for production. Keep the logistics going, no steam means a slow death.Find Bob

When I saw no user reviews, I was kinda scared to get this, especially at this price. But eh, I went for it. The game is quite good, but it's not *really* worth the full price. I'd say it's worth 5 euros, just because it's rather short, and there's not a ton of stuff you can do. But for what it is, it's cool. Just not for 10 euros. It's really on rails (no pun intended), and the choices you make do matter, but only as a kind of unique upgrade (2x speed on this, or 2x speed on that, kind of choice). But I found that interesting as well. I liked the scenario, you're an AI train at the end of the world and you found a human! And against all odds, you have to bring them to safety. I loved that you uncover the story by visiting the different stations and points of interest, rather than exposition. The mechanics are decent, I found no bugs (actually, I did find one, but it's negligible), I loved the crawlers doing their things around the train. You gain 100% resources back when you deconstruct something and I thought that's awesome, as you will kinda want this especially later on. Anyway, I got this on sale for 9 euros, and I think the price is too steep for what I played, but I ha…2 found this helpful
quite good, sadly a bit short but still good game. i would love a endless mode or something like that, no idea how the scaling in that would work tough
I absolutely loved this game! A factory building survival game works so well with the train. It took me a fair amount of attempts to reach the end and by the time I did I felt like I finally understood how to prioritize everything. The world building while fairly minor added so much to the experience, it made it fun to investigate areas with my crawlers to find out more about the world. Overall I'd recommend it if you're a fan of other building/strategy games
