You are in charge!
Pandemic Train is a survival game with roguelike and strategy elements in which you command the crew and passengers aboard an old train powered by a steam engine. The plot takes place in an alternative timeline of the 20th century when a catastrophic virus epidemic decimates the world's population. A mysterious plague kills infected people within 24 hours, leading to widespread panic, riots, and war. The world is in ruins and you are the only hope for its survival. Explore the wastelands, collect resources, fight bandits, and find a cure for a deadly disease!
Survive!
In Pandemic Train the world has become a very inhospitable place. People will die along the way, and you have to minimize the damage. The resources are scarce, so you have to distribute them very carefully. And worst of all - there are lots of hungry wolves around. And by ‘hungry wolves’ we mean desperate people who will do anything to defeat you and stop your search for the cure. To defeat your opponents, take care of the resources you acquire and produce. They are limited, so use them carefully. Unfortunately, this is not the end of bad news...
Manage the resources
In the harsh reality of Pandemic Train, you need to be self-sufficient - you grow your own food, breed the livestock, gather and purify your own drinking water, and take care of a proper ammunition supply. You have to utilize every bit of scrap or junk at your disposal and turn it into something useful. This often leads to difficult decisions, for example - there’s rarely enough medicine for everyone, so you’ll have to decide who is worth the treatment, and who will suffer or even be left to die.
Fight the plague!
The main goal of your actions is to create a vaccine and save the remnants of humanity from extinction. The longer you manage to keep the train moving, the less likely that the crew will have contact with the virus, and your scientists will get more time to work on the medication. You can customize the train to your needs - decide how many people are on it and how many train cars are going to be attached to the engine. But remember - the bigger the party, the harder it is to keep it in check. You are the only hope for mankind. You are the last hope… for humanity.

Its worth if you buy it at 75% discount or more, but its still an empty game with a lot of potential that was never real. Boring story, boring characters and quirky gameplay.3 found this helpful
The game was alright, I liked the concept and things but after completing a run once, you have basically completed the game. You just have to do it another few times but nothing really changes... You can build things on the train but I never had the need for anything outside what you start off with anyway plus chickens... (kitchen, garden, chickens). I try to aim for 100% completion but the bit that upset me was trying to find the 5 random locations, like the tank, the plane, the statue, the tree and the machine. I managed to complete the game without running into any of them despite searching every level... Thankfully someone had screenshots of where they found them and once I worked out the locations I was able to auto complete the levels they weren't on to just hurry through it a bit but even then, they wouldn't always be on there so I would have to try multiple times and hope the correct levels would pop up And then hope the thing was there... Like, why though? Why have that randomness in there to begin with? Just keep them in the level. It's like a reward for playing the level and not auto completing it.1 found this helpful

It's been fun for what it is. If you respect era of Macromedia Flash games, you'll like it. But don't expect extra, really. It's just this.
Its a chill game, but FOR ♥♥♥♥ SAKE the rng based achievements are Awful. 10+ hour from my life that i wont get back. If anyone wants to play this game for the fun of it, just go for it . . . IF its for an achievement hunt JUST SKIP IT.
I haven't enjoyed this game. It is quite difficult and unforgiving.
