Strap on your backpack! Hike, jump, and climb through charming minigames to traverse a rugged landscape and help the old islanders with their deliveries. All while managing a backpack that's always a little too small!Experience a story of vanishing traditions in a futuristic world, a missing scientist, and an unfolding mystery in this charming little adventure with big pixels. Serenading a quieter life, the island calls!
Key Features

- Get to know the islanders. They might be reserved in the presence of strangers, but help them enough, and they might open up and help you in return.
- Move by running, jumping, climbing and balancing over rivers and creeks. The heavier your backpack, the harder it gets to tackle these obstacles.
- Experience Clifford's Island's mysteries, a search for things you might not want to find, and the pull for a quieter life in a fast and loud world.
- Enjoy a short adventure of around 4 to 6 hours. Perfect for a relaxing evening or two!

The game is very sweet, I did enjoy getting to know the characters through what packages they send to each other, and the exploration was fun, even though it was annoying that most of the buildings in the game lack interiors. Sadly, the gameplay is incredibly repetitive, and as you repeat many of the same packages over and over, their storytelling value is diminished. Additionally, despite an intriguing hook, the narrative is quite generic, and the ending is so abrupt I assumed it was a crash until the credits rolled.1 found this helpful
A short but nice game! The repetitive quests briefly confused my priorities versus the main quest but I eventually figured it out. I just wish there was more of it.
Edit: I have found a solution to my issue and managed to continue playing. You have to run at the bridge and then press A at just the right moment. I'm preserving my thoughts below just to illustrate my confusion. I still hope for more instructions to be added in the menu. I started off having such a great time with this little game with my six-year-old, but we needed to give up. We were running around in circles, doing the same quests over and over again. Finally, I had to look up on YouTube what we need to do to advance the main story. I unlocked the door with the rusty key but I cannot cross the bridge that requires sprinting. I tried everything I could think of, damaging my entire load in the process. I tried several in-game days in a row, using my entire stamina bar in the process. I've watched YT playthroughs. I brought other family members in to brainstorm what we should do. We couldn't figure it out and now we're going to need to move on with our lives. I don't understand why there aren't instructions for the minigames in the menu or an ability to skip them. I was hoping that my six year old would be able to play this, but the mini games are too fiddly for her and if she f…
I've been running around in circles in the game for hours and just doing the same thing over and over again with it not triggering the one specific thing you have to do to progress so im giving up was fun for 2 or so hours but after 3 i was just angry
Beautiful pixel game with an intriguing story and fantastic music. I always enjoy a good minigame of backpack organization, and this one was just perfect. Deliver packages, upgrade your gear, get to know the villagers, and just vibe in the cozy, yet enigmatic, setting.
