A group of children mysteriously disappeared during a festival on Rogetsu Isle. Although they were found, they had lost their memories. Now they have returned to the island as teenagers. The girls rely on the Camera Obscura, a camera with the power to capture and seal away unthinkable horrors, and the faint beam of their flashlight while exploring various locations and fending off the ghosts that attack them as they attempt to discover the truth of their haunting past.

Played through in roughly 17 hours. This is peak japanese horror. The game actually puts you constantly in a mode of anxiety and tension. This is what a horror game is supposed to be. Story is a bit confusing at first but makes sense in the end. Sound and atmosphere are on point. Graphics........welll you can tell that this is a Wii port from 2008 . Some textures are really ugly and some are okay but it's not visually stunning but that's ok since the gameplay is where the game shines.2 found this helpful

One of the most best intense fight in tight space and make use of reaction time and dodge. Best overall story for this game and plot very tied to each lore. Gameplay is good but some minor like running , graphic and camera tuned improved from year 2008 Nintendo Wii port. Character running part its like jogging 1km per hour but this is from old limitation loading map asset back in old gen console Nintendo Wii. The camera control part well improved from orignal but have some little janky but still playable improved. Newer remaster retain this for intense running atmosphere for this game but map asset load instantly for newer game remaster. The eeriness atmosphere of long dark hallways are keep beautifully as I remembered playing original Wii game. Every corner hint of feeling ambush by ghost or jump scare plus background noise effect and sound track keeps the intense going on. Overall, if you are a fan of Fatal Frame or new enjoyers of horror or new fan. Get this game. Worth on full or discount price for classic feeling 2008 remaster horror genre.1 found this helpful
