About For Whom the Stars Shine

"Some stories are best told to none," she whispered.

Long ago, the stars disappeared. Then, a man returned them. Few would believe such a thing; fewer still can recall his name or how he bent the heavens' ears. It's a story of romance and tragedy that the stars themselves testify of to this day.

However, you won't find the tale in books or archives—only in the hearts of those who were there.

For Whom the Stars Shine is a short kinetic visual novel—a story without choices or branching paths created by New Dialog and cowritten by Pony with a Pen. Character sprites were drawn by Ruvik, and all background art was created by GoodDay.
Warning: AI Slop This e-book is partially made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"For Whom the Stars Shine" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is a completely garbage CYOA e-book, and, amazingly, the topic is, you guessed it, the author himself and his imaginary girlfriend going on an adventure about restoring the stars because they disappeared. Yeah, that's not how astrophysics works, but when we get these junior high school anime club drop-out fanfictions supplemented with disgusting AI slop, what do you expect? The use of AI slop in the development of any product here on Steam isn't acceptable, no mat…
