Galactic Protection Squad | Episode 1

Highly recommended particularly for educational purposes. The game has very high quality graphics and the gameplay experience is very smooth and intuitive. I am interested to see their next episodes as it has done a great job on gamifying the learning process for mathematical concepts in schools.

I played this on a Valve Index. This is a space/sci-fi puzzle game with puzzles that rely on logic/math, great for everyone of all ages but especially for kids/students who want a fun/visual/immersed way to learn fractions. As the description says, it is a short game, I completed it in about 50 minutes. This is one of the very few VR games were I played it entirely without taking off the headset as I did not feel any motion sickness at all (in other VR games I normally feel it after playing for a while), so this was great. To move in the game you can either choose where you would like to teleport to and/or you can also walk around your room space. For turning you can either use the common snap turn or simply turn in real-life. Concerning computer specifications, my computer only has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 and it ran without any problems. The level design aspects were great, the futuristic/sci-fi/welcoming feel to it loosely reminds me of one of my favorite games, Final Fantasy VIII with its schools/gardens environments. [h1]Experienced on the Oculus Rift[/h1] [i]Please note: I received a free Steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program[/i] Confession time: I should have read the store page description a little closer before accepting this game as part of the Steam Curator Connect program. This game is obviously not meant for me. This is an educational program for young kids where you learn fractions, that is a simple escape room. I beat the game in about 30 minutes. Most of the difficulty was just teleporting around and trying to stay awake. Reminds me of my elementary school days actually. Anyways, you learn fractions. Elementary level. The graphics are okay for this type of game I suppose. However, the teleportation is pretty rough. The interactions are basic. Mostly just touch the button here or select the number there. The puzzles are perfect for elementary kids, especially those who may not normally like math. I'm not sure it's worth $10, but then again, it is a pretty unique game. Fantastic VR experience for either children learning basic Math or adults looking for an ego boost by tackling basic problems. More than worth it's price point.

Awesome game for teaching math. Great graphics and fun activities during the game. I am very sensitive to motion sickness and I didn't fill anything during playing this game. Highly recommended.
