My review for this game is more of an honest review instead of the usual meme reviews left on here that gloss over the games twists to remain spoiler-free with that said, [b] SPOILERS AHEAD [/b] [h2] The Bait-and-Switch [/h2] Glittermitten Grove is an intentional followup to Frog Fractions (even more obvious by the end credits of the game). The fairy world shown from the steam page and in-game is the fake game that covers up the real game that begins when you descend into the caves and enter the ASCII-TXT world. From this point on, the fairy theme is essentially abandoned (unlike Frog Fractions) and the ASCII-TXT world becomes the main hub of progression. [h2] Fun Minigames, Zero Cohesion[/h2] To progress within the ASCII-TXT world, you come across and play various genre-shifting minigames to earn items and letters (letters needed for final portion of the game). In isolation, many of these mini-games were actually quite creative and could stand alone if expanded, I especially enjoyed the Dante's Inferno and Battle Chess games. There's so much depth and strategy in the tree growing mechanics, especially by around year 7. Stick it out!

emotional warning its alight and i think you should play the game for yourself anyway spoiler review [spoiler] Glittermitten grove part is bad colony sim, TXT World as an ASCII puzzle game where you figure out what to do is really fun and loved it quite a bit, the further games you keep playing are really funny and can vairy in enjoyment but usually fast enough to not get too frustrated at, generally I wish each game was followed by a minigame rather than keep going back to the TXT World but it could of been fine if came back there with the gimmick variations only to move on to the next game, the escape sequence at the end was really lacking any tension or worry that something bad was going to happen besides just a run around to the credits. all in all I liked my experience and the humor was on point, it left a fine experience being a bunch of different short game with a few longer ones snitched badly. This is truly one of the best gaming experiences I've had in a while. You have to approach it completely blind. Learning about the creation of the game after completing it was also very entertaining.
