Green New Deal Simulator

I appreciate the intention behind promoting the use of green energy, but the experience could be more engaging. The game design could be improved. I didn't realize the bar at the top of the screen was a timer until near the end of the game. The tutorial was also rather slow and boring and the sound design becomes repetitive very quickly After investing about 40 minutes into the game, I lost and I'm not motivated enough to play it again.

Great little game, I enjoy playing it. I have only one possible contribution about it. Maybe it could have been decent adding a minor "encyclopedia" about different technologies and cards you're using. I didn't know many of them, so I ended searching them, but for practical purposes a little game encyclopedia could have been useful.

"Green New Deal Simulator" is a garbage tier environmental manifesto, badly made with no value as a game, it's just political propaganda. Ironic people concerned with the environment choose to spread their environmental message through data centers and mass produced plastic computers. Anyway. What do you do in the game? There's only 22 cards, the game just whines at you that the world is being destroyed so you play cards that represent the mobile devs political agenda. Ugh. Whether we may or may not agree with the cause, it's my firm belief that politics of any kind has no place in gaming. It does no service to gamers at all for political or social agenda to be shoved down our throats, no matter which side is doing the shoving. We're here to have fun, not get indoctrinated. Because the primary purpose of this product is totally unrelated to gaming, this really just makes gaming worse, and does nothing to further the developers political crusade. This is one of those things that gives amateur developers such a bad name. This is a mobile app... it doesn't matter if this hit Steam Direct before the app stores rubberstamped it, or if it failed to even reach the app stores. …
