The game quickly becomes repetitive and boring, with puzzles that lack variety and fun. The controls are often unresponsive, which spoils the experience. Overall, it feels dull and unengaging, not worth the time.

Hamilton’s Great Adventure is a brisk puzzle-platformer built around speed, timing, and squeezing every bit of treasure out of a level. It’s the kind of game where each stage is a short challenge, and your real goal becomes replaying it cleaner and faster. The main twist is controlling two characters with different jobs: Hamilton does the ground work while Sasha the bird lets you solve problems from another angle. Swapping between them turns simple platforming into small “how do I get past this safely and quickly?” puzzles. Levels start straightforward and gradually pile on traps, enemies, and tighter routes that punish sloppy movement. With more than 60 stages, the campaign lasts long enough to feel substantial, especially if you care about perfect runs and high scores. Offline co-op is a fun option because it lets two players split the roles instead of constantly switching. Coordinating movement and timing can make tricky rooms feel more like teamwork than trial-and-error. Visually it goes for a colorful adventure look that keeps hazards readable, which matters when you’re moving fast. The overall vibe is light, and the game’s structure fits quick sessions well. After first few levels you have seen everything this game has to offer. Nothing really changes, the stages just get longer and more frustrating.

A puzzle game and 3D platformer than is harder to get it to launch than to actually play it. It's a decent game, a little bid dated, in both gameplay, looks and software, but still decent.

Very nice puzzle game that was hidden in the corner of my library. Sometimes the levels can be frustrating, but finding the gold medal solution is always rewarding. There's a timer, but it's only for score purposes, you can take as much time as you want to solve a level. Be warned, though - some stages require good timing, and there is no "undo" feature. The bird's pathfinding sometimes gets stuck, but you can double-click to teleport it to the target. This game often gets a 90% discount, so it's worth adding to your waitlist. The DLC adds 3 more levels and is super cheap, but hidden in another link - https://store.steampowered.com/app/42147/Hamiltons_Great_Adventure__Retro_Fever_DLC/ Since the game is from 2011, some players had issues running the game on modern machines. I managed to play on Windows 10 with just a few minor problems. The game crash a few times and two times it didn't start, so I had to restart Steam and do a "verify game files integrity".
