First things first: if you want to play this game, you are strongly encouraged to download the retranslation patch. Frankly, calling the official version a "translation" is an insult to the players, even a basic machine translation would be more readable than whatever that is. You also shouldn't ignore the cut H-scenes either. While I skipped most of them, some character routes, like Ageha's, make absolutely no sense without them, since the intimacy is central to her storyline. Furthermore, several heroines' important confessions and character development happen during those scenes too. MoeNovel wanting to censor this to cater to 13-year-old French girls will never not be funny. NEVER buy this game unless it's heavily discounted. This game is only playable thanks to the tireless and FREE efforts of the fan community, so avoid supporting these stupid corporate practices if you can. At first, i thought the premise of dreaming a sky is kinda bland. I expected it was gonna be a typical "chasing dream" shounen visual novel or anime that i've allready watched. But because it's cheap and doens't last long so why not? Oh boy how wrong am i. This visual novel really has changed my perception about sky and dreaming for it. Of course it doen't mean If My Heart Had Wings without flaw, every route feel similar with the difference between them are just the heroine. Fortunately every girl has its own background and theme so it's not that boring per se. I cried in almost every route end and the ending fells satisfying. I beg you to save Amane route for the last and you will thanks me later. 9/10
Love the game, just a little sad about how the whole restoration patch thing causes steam to unsync with the game. Seems like it'll still monitor your playtime, but achievements don't seem to register unless you restore the game to it's "family friendly" state.
One of the best visual novels in the space right now. It has good characters, planes, and an actual good plot. What more could you ask for?
I honestly wasn't expecting it to have such an interesting story for a moege, it had some really good emotional moments and the story was definitely enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy silly with a bit of emotional weight.
