This "game"'s full of racism, sexism and even tries to tell us, that tax-payers have to pay a lot for prostitutes and abortions in the end. Their other work "Unified" already starts too with pure hate against abortions, so I assume this "game developer"'s just a right winged MAGA and/or neo-Nazi freak! Oh and of course liberals and lefties are getting here the whole blame as well.

IN CELL is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This e-book... hahaa, wow. Amazing. I was truly amused by this product, but not for the right reasons. But a warning, because this book and my review get into slightly heavier subjects than usual, but I think this is necessary to warn people about this product. Normally Ren'Py e-books are dumped on Steam by unsuccessful, social failures who cannot talk to women or work out how to appeal to them, so they write a high school anime fan-fiction about their true fantasy, their imaginary anime girlfriend/waifu. IN CELL is one of the most unusual visual novels I have come across, mainly because it is much more interested in starting an uncomfortable conversation than telling a traditional story. The game presents an uncensored discussion about modern relationships between men and women, mixing serious topics with memes, dark humor and deliberately provocative material. I found it difficult to treat like a normal visual novel because its main goal seems to be making me think and react rather than simply entertaining me. The gameplay itself is extremely straightforward. This is a linear visual novel, so there are no choices or branching paths for me to control. I mainly read through the dialogue and let the conversation unfold. That makes the writing the entire experience, which means the success of the game depends heavily on whether I find its ideas interesting enough to keep reading. I found the presentation deliberately abstract. There are no conventional developed protagonists in the usual sense, with men and women instead representing broader perspectives on the subjects being discussed.
