The abstract male is the image of God, the absolute something.
Sam isn't exactly looking for a girlfriend. He's content living an aimless life, browsing imageboards and hanging out with his buddies Jake and Jonathan. Recently however, Sam has become entangled in a web of twisted conspiracy theories, causing intrusive thoughts about the opposite sex to occupy his mind.
Follow Sam during his irreversible descent into the abyss.
Incel Syndrome is a freeware video game. It has been available in early access starting Spring 2021. The full version of the game was released Summer 2021.
Through it's narrative, Incel Syndrome attempts to present a nuanced view of Incel subculture, as opposed to the caricatures that are frequently depicted. The game explores currents within contemporary internet-culture, contrasting them against the theories of Otto Weininger — a young Austrian philosopher who tragically ended his life in 1903, shortly after completing a 500-page treatise on male-female relations.
Incel Syndrome is an interactive visual novel. The player is able to freely explore two timelines: the PRESENT, which documents Sam's current interactions and activities; and the PAST, a manifesto-style account of his life until the present day. At the end of the game both timelines converge in an unprecedented display of phantasmagoric apotheosis.

this game. I mean, I don't think that the execution is bad. the execution of this is way too good. which is why you probably shouldn't be wasting your time on this. there's some really rancid thoughts in this, and while there's, like, I guess, MARGINAL ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character growth, it feels like just reading the 4chan blog the main character is frequenting. it delivers what is said on the tin. it is indeed incel syndrome. please do not continue past this. I suffered together with a friend for FIVE CONSECUTIVE HOURS. please do not even attempt. it is so not worth your time, just read genuine scientific articles on incels, or maybe even just go online for once. you'll see enough people like this in real life. you do not need to play an entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ manifesto on them. thank you for your time. Игра 'Incel Syndrome' - это крайне провокационный и неоднозначный проект. Оставляя в стороне этическую сторону, стоит отметить, что механика игры, хоть и проста, но вызывает определённое привыкание. Игрок погружается в мир отчуждения и фрустрации, сталкиваясь с ситуациями, которые могут показаться гротескными и даже болезненными. Однако, именно это погружение, пусть и неприятное, позволяет взглянуть на социальные проблемы под другим углом. Визуальный стиль нарочито примитивен, что усиливает чувство безысходности. Звуковое сопровождение, хоть и минималистично, создаёт давящую атмосферу. Стоит ли играть в это? Это вопрос с пометкой "18+". Если вы готовы к исследованию тёмных сторон человеческой психики и не боитесь столкнуться с дискомфортом, попробовать стоит. В противном случае, лучше обойти стороной. Игра оставляет после себя неприятный осадок, но заставляет задуматься. Это её главный, и, возможно, единственный смысл.
love a Philosophy of a Knife reference. the writing in this is so good it feels terribly realistic. crazy this game is free, i'm having an incredible yet uncomfortable time. the soundtrack is so good too
Du har følt nok på det nå, nå er det på tide å bare overgi seg, det var den dagen du begynte å bli gal, hun er tross alt den mørke irradiasjons søster med en himmelsk uendelighet guddommelig skjønnhet, av ren hvit sexmagi. Hun forhekset deg med hennes kropp og språk. Måten hun beveger seg som en note fra stolene til skapet på skolen, smil og blomster hvelver deg inn i et bedre sted der du kan ha en grunn til å klirre med hælen og puste dypt. Når hun sier ordene har du ingen andre steder å rømme enn inn i henne. Det er det eneste som betyr noe nå, det eneste som er ekte. Du betyr bare noe hvis du har ansiktet ditt godt begravd og innmult inn i håret hennes, gråtende etter det eneste du ønsker, noe som står fanget inni et brennende flammehav du aldri kan få. Den ene kvinnen som kan bety mer for deg enn den nattmørke båtturen du har dødd for alle andre på hele ditt liv, omgjort til meningsløshet uten hennes lyse, helbredende, hellige aura som fordriver mørke og smerte, jo nærmere hun holder deg inntil seg.
